They knew the virus was extremely contagious in congregate settings because antibody tests of crew members of three naval vessels proved this (up to 72 percent of crew members have tests showing “prior infection.”) … and they knew only one crew member died from Covid … so they knew the Infection Fatality Rate for healthy people middle age and younger was the same or even lower than the flu.
They knew this by early May 2020 when they got the results of these antibody tests. They knew this 3 1/2 years ago, but they didn’t tell the public this.
If they didn’t know that ventilators and remdesivir kill alleged Covid patients, they should have known this much quicker than they did. They still haven’t acknowledged they were literally dead wrong with their campaign to produce and distribute record numbers of ventilators. And doctors are still prescribing remdesivir. In fact, Fauci’s replacement, Dr. Marrazzo, is one of the biggest supporters of this drug.
They also refused to authorize any investigations that would “confirm” early spread. They didn’t make wide-spread PCR testing available until mid-March 2020 and widespread antibody testing until late April, two of many decisions they could have authorized (but didn’t) in order to conceal evidence of early spread.

This is why Sweden and other European countries didn't close schools. They don't have this safety obsessed culture that we now have.
When you look at why these intentional errors were committed (money), you realize every facet of our federal government has the same problem - revolving door Corporate corruption. There is no political solution. As much as we'd like to think we can get a better Congress or a better President who would solve this problem, it's not going to happen. All people who are aware of this can do is find solutions outside of government - build and support resilient private institutions.

Piggybacking on Thomas Taylor s comment, I am daily aghast at the number of people who continue with “well,now they say we need to Booster” and “ they are now very concerned about RSV”.... my God people, do you know how idiotic you sound? Do you do any inventorying of what all THEY have said and THEY have been dead you know what wrong about?? And it’s all so bad that THEY won’t admit to any mistakes or poor judgment!!
