OFF TOPIC: This morning my debit card was declined and it wasn't because I'm over-drawn (it's early in the month and I actually have funds). I know what flagged this because it's happened at least four times already. Stripe or some credit card company has flagged one of my recurring monthly paid subscriptions to the dozen or so Substackers I make donations to.
My question: Why does this KEEP happening? Also, I wonder how many of my paid subscribers have had issues paying me? I know that some of the paid subscriptions I thought I generated are/were declined.
Anyway, my Spider Sense that "something" might be happening with Substack is still activated.
Now I've got to go to the bank and see if I can "approve" these recurring payments ... again.
I do use a locally-owned bank, which is actually fighting hard with other "community banks" to nix this central bank digitial currency initiative. I doubt they will be successful, but I appreciate the effort.
They closed our local branch of our bank, where we knew every one by name. They all moved to a farther away branch. And…we live in the sticks. They are herding us and I feel it.

This all reminds me of when Bill Clinton was president. All his staffers were extremely young, as in mostly right out of college. I remember Naomi Wolfe was one of his advisors. She was fresh out of college, had a Ph.D. in poetry and was an advisor. I still wonder what she advised him on, as she had no background in politics, or probably even in holding a job. A few yrs ago I saw a video of Bill Clinton being prepared for interview on TV. The point of this video was to show that he was mind-controlled - and there was no doubt in my mind that's what was going on. He was COMPLETELY, utterly blank in his face, zero expression. It let me know Clinton was not in charge of the White House or the country but someone else was pulling his strings. Just like Biden these days. It begs the question: how long has this been going on? And who's in charge of the young people who are the staffers? Surely, they can't be operating on their own?

Our Republic has been stolen and the steal began long before 2020. It started the latter half of the 19th century and has degraded to this.
