I live in Canada. Let me assure the world that snow, abundant snow, is still with us.

I've never been to Canada and it is on my bucket list. Want to go to Edmonton and see an Oilers game!

We will probably end up with 4 or 5 inches here in the Dothan area. I was living in Hailey, Idaho, just south of Sun Valley the last time I saw this much snow. It's crazy really, but not nearly as crazy as Al Gore's Global Warming BS....

Where did Al Gore go to school? We need to stay away from that place. All he learned was how to kiss up to those in power. I admit I was originally taken in my him, but I've recovered fully.

I'm pretty sure he studied at the WEF Young Global Leaders School, where he met Gavin Newsome and Justin Trudeau. (I'm only half kidding. Google the school and it's graduates. Newsome and Trudeau are definately two of them. Gore would fit right in, but don't know if he's attended.)

Having grown up in NE Ohio, I appreciate the fun of the "First Snow"! My family and I were stuck for 7 hours in the Kansas Blizzard January 5th. The storm wasn't that bad by Ohio standards but people in Kansas were saying they hadn't had a storm like that in 100 years.

Here in Lacombe,La. (just across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans) we currently have 7 inches and still falling! It's called weather, however unusual it may be. Stay warm!

Yes, here in Buffalo, we get snow! I love it! Sadly this democrat run state now declares an “emergency” every time it snows! Ever since they abandoned their posts and allowed 50+ people to die because of their failures, we now get a serving of hysteria with every forecast! 6” is nothing but a beautiful snow globe! I’m thrilled you all get to experience it too!

I just took a few more photos and added to this dispatch. It's STILL snowing as hard as ever - at least 4 inches. We'll probably end up with at least 5 inches. This is the 2nd greatest Alabama snow in my lifetime. It's also getting kind of dangerous out on the roads, which I was stupid enough to just get out on.

You have more snow on the ground in Alabama than we have in Minneapolis.

I just risked my neck to drive to the campus and take some photos. Check out my Troy Citizen substack later today for "snow photos at Troy University."

Bill it's been in the negative temp range all day up here in the northern Illinois and Iowa area. Wish those cows would do some farting to warm things up!!!!

We still have a little bit of the foot of snow we had on the 6th. Hopefully yours will be gone quickly. Problem for us is that we have had such cold weather.

Enjoy your snow. The last time I lived with winter snow was as a 5th grader in Alexandria, VA. I do not miss it.

Bill, you've got more snow there than we have around our house here in Canada (Chatham area)!

Welcome to the Canadian Snow Club.

Wonderful times! Cardboard was the sled of choice on my neighborhood hills many moons ago!

Enjoy!

Ouch! Not very pliable to say the least. Did your Mom know where the dings & dents originated?🥰 It was a simpler time. Kids thrived outdoors, scrapes & all.

Mom offered it! It's become a family artifact, and my sister has it now. No, not the least bit pliable, but very fast-moving! We'd sit in it with our legs hanging out front, and hang on for dear life as it screamed down the hill...good times!!
