For at least four years now, I've started with the premise that the official narrative is a lie (disinformation). This logic tool allows me to identify what the likely real truth is (it's the opposite of the authorized narrative). If one assumes the official storyline is false, you also would assume there is a good reason they are lying about X. So then you simply ask, why would it be so important to lie about this? This is basically the type thinking I employ before I start writing any story.
It should be the logic train for any government 'news'.
Unfortunately, as others have expressed, the universe of stupid people that are glued to the MSM/social media feeds and don't even register the logical fallacies, is huge. But...let's hope it's becoming less huge each day.
You're way off. It's probably more like 125 million, at the very least. You seriously underestimate the magnitude of stupid people. The majority of people who are not lining up for their latest booster are doing it out of laziness, not knowledge. That's what we've always been up against with the masses - laziness and stupidity. That's why they are so easily coerced by the governments who understand this very well.
Aren't they lining up because they think these shots will prevent "severe" cases? They now know they aren't getting their shots to prevent becoming infected themselves.
It's the flu vaccine rationale. "I might still get the flu but it's going to be a milder case of the flu" - which is a lie too ... but it works.
"My guess: There might be 125 (?) people in world who still believe this official disinformation."
Bill - My guess is that it's a lot more than you suspect. And it's simply because many people only watch or read Trusted News Initiative sources (If it ain't in the main, it must be insane). They believe the lies and are willfully blind to the truth.
As Taibbi observed (and I think you commented Bill) what the government wants is not an end to disinformation, but for the government (and cronies) to have a monopoly on disinformation.
I do not know, and I have not heard of, a single knowledgeable person who initially refused the vaccines and later changed his mind based on the data. There are tens of thousands of us on the other side of that situation, who made the dreadful mistake of taking the shots but will never take another.
I also note that few people consider another part of the Gulf War disinformation campaign. What if Saddam did have WoMD? Just because he had them (which he didn’t) doesn’t necessarily mean he was going to use them against American citizens, which would have been suicide for a dictator like Saddam. Ironically, as it turns out, if your nation really does have nuclear weapons (a real weapon of mass destruction), your citizens are probably safe from a military “intervention” of America.
That is, the only reason we did invade Iraq is because our leaders knew this nation did NOT have the ultimate weapon of mass destruction.
Our government and military brass also made all the troops get vaccine after vaccine to protect against the biological or chemical weapons our leaders said Saddam had and would use … but didn’t.
Those vaccinations might have caused more adverse medical events in our troops than any fighting did via "Gulf War Syndrome," which I once thought was not real, but now think is/was very real.
The weapons that did the most damage were hidden land mines.
AISLING O'LOUGHLIN: Alright we're back to the cheery subject of excess deaths. It's not going away, you know. It's something we have to look at. A lot of people out there, they just can't believe it's happening, they think we're a load of cranks and nutjobs and we're just saying this, you know, for the good of our health. If only that was the case. If only. But we're looking at these excess deaths, and we're exceptionally lucky, we've got somebody new on board, somebody very special. Big noise in the academic world. Dr. Sean Ó Nualláin, professor at Stanford and Berkeley, no less.* And you've done quite a bit to earn a fantastic reputation, and we're absolutely delighted that you can break down these numbers for us. Because so many people out there won't believe us. And when we get somebody with your academic record they might listen.
So would tell you tell us why, Dr. Ó Nualláin, have you decided to throw your name in the hat and speak up?
DR. SEÁN Ó NUALLÁIN: Well, mainly because the whole Covid-19 thing was obviously a complete fraud right from the start. And we did statistical analysis very early on in 2020, so I was able to say in June 4th, 2020 with Pat Barry and LíR Media** that basically you'd better open up everything now, and you're going to be closing everything in the autumn again, that's very clear, but you better open it up now, because it's now as good as it's going to get. So this actually was the first fraud. They were using the wrong statistical method.
And the second fraud then came when we found ourselves able to predict the number of cases way through the autumn and winter, and they had no interest in that whatsoever. We contacted North Dakota, and we contacted Ireland, we contacted, this is the authorities now, we contacted Spain.
So then, of course, the injections started. But I'm getting ahead of the story now, actually.
AISLING O'LOUGHLIN: Yeah, we want to look at your CV because we're delighted really to have somebody new, and somebody of your stature to be able to deliver this news to the people of Ireland, who really don't want to hear it. They really don't. So will you tell us a little bit about your career to date, because you have written 15 books and you're a highly credentialed individual.
DR. SEÁN Ó NUALLÁIN: Written and edited 15 books, yes, and a lot more besides which came out in web journals and independent publishers. There's 15 books with academic publishers. And so I ended up in molecular and cell biology at UC Berkeley, I ended up at neuroscience in, in U C Berkeley. And then the students at Stanford had heard a talk that I gave there, and said, look, man, that's really great, could you teach a course on this? And I said, look, you're going to have to go back to your professor and ask him that. So as a result of that I got appointed to be a professor at Stanford teaching two courses, Neuroscience and Experience, and Biosemiotics. They're currently taught for credit at the University of Pisa, and so that's their summer school in Consciousness and Cognition, they're my courses that are taught.
AISLING O'LOUGHLIN: You know the court system, you know the academic system, so like so many of us, our careers to date are helping us understand what is going on. And you know, it's no accident that you're here at this moment to help the wider public understand what is going on. Now, it's something incredibly serious. A black—
DR. SEÁN Ó NUALLÁIN: Yeah.
AISLING O'LOUGHLIN: —swan event. A one in a 10,000 year event we are looking at with these excess deaths.
DR. SEÁN Ó NUALLÁIN: Yeah.
AISLING O'LOUGHLIN: What's going on?
DR. SEÁN Ó NUALLÁIN: So what's going on is a lot of people are dying actually, and an awful lot more people are going to die this winter. I mean, we haven't even started the excess deaths yet. But, I mean, I just I want to anticipate the responses I'm going to get, you know, for this.
The response we already know from Anthony Staines is, they're going to say the data we're using from Eurostat and the European Commission— remember, we're using European Commission data, that's the executive of the European Union. That's a serious body. And he's saying, no, that those data are all wrong.
There's other data from EuroMOMO*** which is European Mortality. And I phoned them, I did everything you meant to do, there's no response.
So we can now say that they're taking those data from their ass. This is bullsh#t. You know, our data are actually right. If they, if they want to give me their data, I will process them just as I processed this.
AISLING O'LOUGHLIN: And also, you have to say that Anthony Staines, he would say that. Because I do, I was looking at one of his latest international studies. And what was the conclusion? And this is a man who gets on air, he gets a lot of air-time, and he gets wheeled out, you know, as this voice, as this great academic voice. And what was the conclusion? More vaccines!
DR. SEÁN Ó NUALLÁIN: Yeah, and I mean, I mean, the man is a fool apart from everything else. I mean, it's not, you know, we knew as early as, like, January, February 2021 that these injections were not going to work. They're not vaccines, actually, according to the Oxford English dictionary, they're not vaccines. Vaccines immunize and Pfizer admitted in public they did not even test for immunity. So they're not vaccines. They changed the American definition of English, but that's not really English, you know, that's the Webster Dictionary.****

So, if, uh, just getting back to the figures here, the black swan. Aisling, so basically we have a figure here, we have 37 deaths in 2022 versus normal 31,000 and they could actually argue that's just an anomaly.
The third fallback position they have is, they will say, correlation is not causation. And they were told to do this by the, there's actually a manual for handing the media in a, in a pandemic. It's called the SPARS Manual and it came out in 2017* and it's blow by blow what they eventually did in Covid-19.
So if you're, if you're losing the argument, well you say, correlation is not causation. Well, you know, basically, Stats 101, we've got ways around that. It's called Granger Causality. We've got the R squared. But these guys don't know any of those stats, they're just ignorant people being paid a fortunate to tell lies.
Now getting onto the specifics of this. The statistical test you can use is on the web, it's, it's actually a T-test. It's very, very simple. It's one of the simplest tests you can do. And there's a site called GraphPad** which is free. And you can, you can do that. So basically what you can do is key in, month by month, the deaths in 2022, say, and key in month by month the average deaths for those months. And you get incredible results. You get, you get a probability of 0001, that's one 1 in 10,000, They tell you the probability of this happening by chance is less than 1 in 10,000. Or the analogy I would use, it's like like tossing heads 13 times in a row. It's greater than that. So for 2022 we can say for sure that that's actually a, a black swan event. Something incredible happened.
What's even more disturbing is Ireland versus the EU. And in, from 2022 to so far in 2023 there's a
a 1 in 2,500 chance that that happened by chance. So that's actually more than the chance of throwing 11 heads in a row. It's more unlikely than that.
So for some reason, the Irish are getting killed, and we're getting killed at a rate that is actually exponentially greater than our fellow members of the European Union. Why? That question really needs to be asked. There is not a more urgent question anywhere in this country, Aisling.
It's like tossing a coin and it coming up heads 13 times in a row. I got that far in statistics. You multiply 2 times 2 - 13 times in a row. What's the probability anyone could do that?
I use stats with my early spread articles and thinking. What was the real R-ought number for Covid? How many people would one infected person infect in a week or two?
If one person had Covid in, say, late November 2019 in town X, how many people would have been infected a couple of weeks later? If the r-ought number was 2 or 3 or 4, it would be a lot of people.
So was the virus contagious or not? Did it become more contagious ... in the spring (warm weather) months than it was in the "cold and flu" months? I doubt it.
I know from my research the virus (If it was Covid) was contagious because so many people infected their spouses, kids or co-workers at the same time. That's why so many schools shut down. The virus WAS contagious. The R-ought number was much higher than 1.
The virus wasn't killing people (for the most part), but it was contagious. You can use stats to calculate how many people might have been infected if the virus was this contagious.
Another question I have: Where were all the stats professors?
What was the probability a healthy child would really die from this virus? It would have been nice if a couple more stats professor spoke up .... but they apparently knew what they shouldn't say.
I guess they calculated the odds of this hurting their careers.
Norman Fenton most especially has been speaking out, and no doubt others, but it's hard to find out about them, and all that they have to say, when they are being so heavily censored and shadow-banned.
Your last question is where the rubber hits the road. What's the point of studying and understanding statistics and probabilities ... if you can't use this academic discipline when they matter?
For example, if the probability a healthy college student will die from Covid is 0.001 percent, why does this student even need a vaccine, where the adverse event risks are certainly higher than 0.001 percent?
The only rationale that might explain the necessity of these students getting vaccinated is that these shots will prevent much-older at-risk people from getting Covid through close contacts with these young people. Alas, we now know that the probability the vaccine will prevent these students from becoming infected is probably less than unvaccinated students. Furthermore, statistically, how many college students actually have close contacts with 82-year-old neighbors in their college towns?
It seems to me every college should have at least one statistics professor on its faculty that would make these points. But we now know from observation that this is not the case. The probability a statisitics professor would use statistics to argue against vaccines for college students is almost zero percent. Almost 100 percent will not use statistics if statistics will put them on the wrong side of the authorized narrratives.
.... See, I just used statistics ... and I never even passed the course!
(I never passed the course because I always quit going to that class, which is 100 percent sure way to get an F in any course).

Yes, important to add this month that ALL government and media sources about war are lies. ALL. No matter what the war, or who it is with. Every government and media voice out there is trying to manufacture consent for atrocities.
From a Canadian perspective Bill, many here hardly questioned the roll out while "the many from away" were blossoming in warp speed; even in the summer it felt like an invasion of people with different values because our constitution was being chipped away when people were probably on tic tok or something to distract them , but mainly too disinterested to even care . Today I read this about the CCP "saturation" in our political arena (WEFFERS ???) and I suspect yours as well. I am now starting to think we will not have any election to replace our teflon man who is part of this group and values as well. https://www.thebureau.news/p/justin-trudeau-targeted-in-united/comments
As you know, those in power are doing everything they can to keep us looking into the ..vid scandal
Apparently - I stand for Ukraine - has moved on to I stand for ...... fill in a blank every week .
There is the Disinformation, and then there is the Suppression of the real information. Conveniently for our elites, you can even aide the latter through almost entirely passive means!
Even if you want to be still be considered a 'conservative.'
I have major new piece today https://pomocon.substack.com/p/the-silence-on-the-jabs on the role that most top conservatives, with my prime example being those who rule the Claremont Institute, play in this. Spread the word, help me expose this charade, and eventually, we can start going after the top politicians involved in it also.
In reading your piece I thought of The American Conservative. That magazine published several of my freelance articles several years ago when I just started working as a freelance journalists. I think all of my articles were well received. And then Covid happened and I started submitting articles that dealt with the most important issue/event of our lifetimes ... and every one of these were rejected. It seemed to me this important conservative magazine was taking a pass on the most important subject of our times. I think they now publish a few more anti-narrative pieces, but not as much as they should IMO.
In contrast, the Brownstone Institute and its writers write about little else. We (I'm one of those writers) all see this is THE issue of our times and every area feeds into all our conservative thinking. The Brownstone Institute is becoming a force in conservative media ... because its founder Jeffrey Tucker and their growing roster of writers "get it."
Yup. I'll be at Brownstone's conference this weekend. I hope I have a chance to talk with Kheriaty.
The kind of analysis I have done in tabulating what the Claremont Institute publishes could be done with any similar organization 'conservative' or 'libertarian' that regularly publishes. I have done a few of these analyses, it's not hard, and will likely do more in the future. But I invite other substackers to join me. Most all of these orgs will look poorly on this. And we should eventually turn to considering the politicians. Every single GOP legislator has a website, and you can see and measure what they draw attention to, or not.
You can almost quantify the "capture rates" of the different professions or organizations. I tried to do that with a recent piece. I identified about five members of Congress who maybe think like I/we do on Covid topics. Five out of the 650 or so who have served in the House or Senate in the last four years. That's about a 99 percent captured rate.
That's still better than the mainstream news organizations.
I would estimate that 99 percent of Brownstone writers think like we do. So there's your contrast.
Tell everyone I said hello. I haven't sold enough subs to pay for a trip to the conference!
You’re 100% correct Bill, it’s all part of their Machiavellian plan to retain power by confusing the sheep to keep voting for them in their plan to destroy America. Your doing a great job on exposing how they did the Covid hoax and I have been focused how they did the coup with the commonality of abusing the power of the state to control and manipulate the American public. Hear a parallel article that illustrates your point. https://jseaman.substack.com/p/the-medias-role-in-covering-up-the
I'd read that before, but re-read it. That's an impressive summary. I almost got into the "Russia stole/hacked an election" disinformation example with my piece. I think that narrative is more preposterous than the Covid narratives. It doesn't matter. It worked ... and official disinformation became the "authorized narrative."
well, we now know the terrorists that attack America with biowapons. They have names and faces. They also attacked most of the rest of the world. Just like lunatic Graham says, bomb the whole world. That is exactly what happened, only not with bombs but with mini-bombs. Poison arrows.
It's the flu vaccine rationale. "I might still get the flu but it's going to be a milder case of the flu" - which is a lie too ... but it works.
Yep, that's what everyone around me is saying!
It's the fall-back marketing pitch.
On the conference call Pfizer recently did, Bourla spoke of "people that they are truly believers in the value of the vaccine."
The vaccine that is not a vaccine. That's apropos.
Reading the materials Pfizer's been putting out for public consumption lately is an education in covid. The quarterly report released this morning, for instance: https://s28.q4cdn.com/781576035/files/doc_financials/2023/q3/Q3-2023-PFE-Earnings-Release.pdf
Because it’s belief that makes them work, you see
Except that they don't work.
I would say that ignorance is also a problem, caused by government education, which teaches stupidity and obedience
"My guess: There might be 125 (?) people in world who still believe this official disinformation."

I guess they calculated the odds of this hurting their careers.
re: Where were all the stats professors?
Dear Bill,
🌶🌶🌶🌶THAT IS A MUY SPICY QUESTION🌶🌶🌶🌶
Norman Fenton most especially has been speaking out, and no doubt others, but it's hard to find out about them, and all that they have to say, when they are being so heavily censored and shadow-banned.
Another spicy question:
How many stats professors took the jabs?
Indeed.

Yes, important to add this month that ALL government and media sources about war are lies. ALL. No matter what the war, or who it is with. Every government and media voice out there is trying to manufacture consent for atrocities.
And we have ALWAYS been at war with Eastasia
Happy Halloween! And well said.
Happy Halloween. If no trick-or-treaters come, I can eat all the candy!
We live in an UpSiDeDoWn world!
What shouldn't happen ... will happen. You can bet on it.
Bill keep doing what your doing in getting the truth out to the public we only have 11 months left before voting begins to educate the public.
well, we now know the terrorists that attack America with biowapons. They have names and faces. They also attacked most of the rest of the world. Just like lunatic Graham says, bomb the whole world. That is exactly what happened, only not with bombs but with mini-bombs. Poison arrows.
“Everybody knows you never go full retard.”
It would seem the purveyors of covid learned nothing from Tropic Thunder.
The logical question then becomes: Is the government's lickspittle media that has been lying all along NOW telling us the truth about Israel?
Uh oh.
