I went back and read my article where I defended Tucker (after Sage Hana kept attacking him as "controlled opposition" and then attacking me as a dupe for defending Tucker.

One point I made was that if Tucker was taken off the air, the Deep State would dance a little two step, which they are no doubt doing right now.

I said that I thought Tucker wrote his own material and actually believed in the things he was writing and saying, which I still believe. I also said I didn't get the impression Tucker was going to throttle back on his efforts to harpoon Big Pharma et al ... which he did not do. RFK, Jr. just made a tweet, saying he thinks Tucker sealed his fate by going after Big Pharma one time too many last week.

Anyway, if Tucker was controlled opposition, he eventually upset his alleged handlers, who must not have really "controlled him." ... Now the real powers that be might "control" Rupert Murdoch and his children, which might explain today's news.

The new aristocracy saw the need to show some muscle and money is their tool. They took, through their fully bought and paid for judiciary tools, the thumbscrews to member aristocrat Murdoch, made him pay an exorbitant amount of money to one of their cover organizations, while at the same time reimbursing him with more Blackrock money (funny how these events coincide), so he fell in line and got rid of that troublesome priest. It served its purpose as a warning to all who think they are too rich or too famous to be punished for leaving the plantation. Free speech? an outdated concept in this age of a self-appointed financial elite running the world.

"However, Sage Hana and others have always argued Tucker was “controlled opposition” and working for the Bad Guys all along."

Total nonsense.

"Now the real powers that be might "control" Rupert Murdoch and his children, which might explain today's news."

The more probable explanation.

He had on guests that no one else would talk to and covered stories that mattered. I think that Fox’s viewership is about to plummet worse than it did when they called Arizona for Biden at 9 pm in 2020

If true, this cements FOX as the dumb network.

Why are they dumb? Do you think Fox News is an actual place for Conservatives?

They called the Az election early in 2020, Murdoch's kids are left wing loons

I haven't forgotten that AZ "call' either. I kept watching the results come in via the Internet and knew that state was "too close to call." Biden ended up "winning" by a tiny margin. But Fox called that state almost as soon as the polls closed. That was a big red flag for me about Fox News.

Fox didn't lose that lawsuit. The Judge probably would have been overturned, if it went that far. Matter of fact, all that happened was discovery, they never even went to trail. Fox "plead guilty" to a "crime" they did not commit. People do that every day in our so-called system of justice. They do it because the process is the penalty.

That seems to be the conjecture at the moment. If anyone at Fox did question those election results, they were right to do so. And why can't you question election results? Didn't every Democrat question the 2016 election results? It's an article of "truth" that "the Russians" hacked that election. Now how they did that I'll never know. It wasn't some Facebook posts nobody saw that got hundreds of thousands of voters in key swing states to change their votes from Hillary to Trump.

I read somewhere recently that the machines give different proportions to different votes, meaning some votes are counted 100%, others maybe 60%. Besides the blatant illegality (I presume) of this, which votes are discounted? Demographics is my guess but then I’m a Conspiracy Theorist.

You're correct that an outlet like Substack could be within the bullseye to be taken out. Writers never had much freedom to do what they do since there was always an editor lurking about. Let's hope that Substack doesn't sell us out.

Agreed.

Moreover, one must wonder what is the value of free expression these days of internet talking?

I suspect the value could increase exponentially, but on the other hand, if old forces try to hold onto communication then things will just go local even more rapidly then they already are if you can sense the wind from the east.

I think I see where this is going. Fox was the largest company not completely captured that sometimes delivered "real" news. That can't be allowed, all the news media must be controlled, not just most of it. So we devalue the company with lawsuits, propaganda, and now with one of their top reporters being out. This makes the company cheaper for a buyout. The big boys will all get golden parachutes, and the stockholders will get shafted. You can be sure there is a lot going on behind the scenes that we are not privy to.

I've observed Fox hosts self-censor as they tounge-triped and caught themselves while they spoke during the scamdemic and now. So undignified but they must be under strict orders. I narrowed my viewing more and more as I caught them doing this until only Tucker was speaking his mind. Stewart Varney Is very diplomatic but he threads carefully; I suspect his time is limited and Greg Gutfeld will also be missed as he's too effective in his truthful humor.

Expand full comment
Bill Rice, Jr.'s avatar

I agree. I see it too. Tucker was pushing the envelope. There's a lot we don't know about what was going on behind the scenes. I saw a recent interview with Tucker where he talked about the "peace" he felt by just saying what he really thought. He's rich enough by now that he can say what he really thinks. And now he will be even freer to do this.

I had a feeling after these sequence of events something like maybe what is happening was going to happen. Ready?

1. Somebody literally "bugged" Tucker.

2. Tucker got to talking about the so-called insurrection that was none-thing of the such and evidence was being presented.

3. Tucker got a talking to.

4. Tucker stopped reporting after actual members of Congress threatened his ass in public mind ya.

5. Now - here we are.

Good for Tucker is what I think - may he be everlasting sort of like the Tuck boys were in the children's story called: "Tuck Everlasting" if memory serves.

I believe what occurred is somebody supposedly has access to his private life in a manner that upset him and got him to thinking. I think he thunk, well if that is the case why not just express my views as I feel them. The rest is history.

From my standpoint, I take the stance that everything I do, all words I express, my actions in some places, most of what I do could be recorded if somebody is wasting their time watching and listening, but let me go on record if you are - you are wasting your time - I'm an open book.

~

I told a friend, that is the stance I take and sometimes a blurt out some bat-shit crazy stuff, just to get a sense if anybody is actually listening.....or caring.....whatever - I know what I'm doing and eff you if you are bugging me.

That is what I think Tucker thought and now apparently he has been fired - comes as no surprise to me.

I been there.

I've written a lot about his apostate Covid views, but he took on sacred cow after sacred cow. The transgender issue, anti-depressants, satins, Jan 6, Russia! Russia! Russia!, all the wars that America didn't need to fight, Climate Change silliness ... The list goes on and on. Basically, he had a monopoly on taboo topics on network TV. So he will be sorely missed because whoever replaces him isn't going to touch most of these topics.

I think he thought for a while about actually running for president, but isn't going to do it. Alex Berenson mentions this in his piece on the Tucker news. In the back of my mind I always thought that one day I might break some big Covid story (maybe on "early spread") and that Tucker might even invite me onto his show to talk about the article. That won't happen now. There's probably lots of Substack authors who thought the same thing. Maybe he'll have us on his new podcast or whatever he ends up doing.

Now that he is independent and free of corporate controls, there is more of a chance that he will have an extended show and can host a nice variety of guests to interview.

Fox fires @TuckerCarlson

five days after he crosses the red line by acknowledging that the TV networks pushed a deadly and ineffective vaccine to please their Pharma advertisers. Carlson’s breathtakingly courageous April 19 monologue broke TV’s two biggest rules: Tucker told the truth about how greedy Pharma advertisers controlled TV news content and he lambasted obsequious newscasters for promoting jabs they knew to be lethal and worthless. For many years, Tucker has had the nation's biggest audience averaging 3.5 million — 10 times the size of CNN. Fox just demonstrated the terrifying power of Big Pharma.
