A co-worker 35 years ago introduced me to "you don't know what you don't know!" as his phrase describing people in general but especially ones in over their head.
Even people don't know what they don't know but what makes people different from the rest of life is that while we don't know what we don't know we have the ability to seek out and discover previously unaware of information. What the lite have done is destroyed that natural curiosity at the physical and spiritual level turning so many into Social Media NPC's; tomorrow activists for collectivists governance as it promises all to everyone for free.
This is a hard truth, but it seems to be "the truth:" Most people don't want to know the truth ... if that truth is really big and might change the way they've thought about everything in the world.
It's okay to expose some minor scandals, but not "crimes against humanity."
It's a shame that a small group of young men went to war over taxation without representation and now we have our government lying to us and various departments lying to each other. This is not what the founding fathers had in mind! They spent a lot of time on the Constitution to get it the way they wanted it and now we have a dirtbag pedophile riding roughshod over it and doing whatever he wants to do. Scr3w him.
Going to the source of this quote is from 2002 and provides a little more context:
"There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know."
Rumsfeld, who certainly knew more than he appeared to on 9/11 and also the moon landing (which appears as a massive $ scam, much like “Covid” - yet Covid is also the biggest political coup ever conceived in my opinion).
At 70 I still don't believe we went to the moon. When asked why we haven't been back somebody at NASA said the technology was lost. We advanced so much in flight from the Wright Brothers to WWII we should be able to catch a flight there for a vacation weekend, except for that pesky Van Allen belt! Think of that capsule the size of a VW bug and think of a VW bug in a northeast winter in the same time period. You telling me you can't be warm in a bug but can travel across space no problemo?
My late grandmother also never believed those astronauts really stepped foot on the moon. I actually think they did. Or, if they could pull off a hoax that involved that many people .... they could pull off any scam!
The technology was lost? Did they accidentally leave it on the moon? Or the fake moon set? Was it written in a spiral notebook? Or on microfilm tucked in a wristwatch?
you can aim a laser gun at the reflectors on the moon left by Apollo teams. They are still there and working. Why is it that a lot of the Covid truthers have gone full bore off the deep end of reality? I dont get it. Its like everything is a conspiracy now and this discredits the seeking and pursuing truth....
My article notes Facebook has ONE BILLION users. That's a lot of "We the People" who could push-back against tyrany and the efforts of our rulers to control our lives.
What if instead of suspending all those counts and "de-boosting" the reach of all the users who dissented from the authorized narratives, Facebook had allowed these people to make their points?
The Powers that Be might have a heart attack. IMO what the Establishment "club members" fear most of all is people rising up .... and coming after them.
But this isn't a worry with Facebook. It was easy to capture that company and its speech platform. That "threat" was neutralized.
Anyway, used as it could have been used, Facebook could have been a real "town square" where patriots who are defenders of liberty could talk and criticize injustices ... and perhaps force real positive change. Hypothetically anyway.
I think our rulers (and the CIA) figured this out early on ... so they HAD to capture Facebook ... and they did.
When it 1st became obvious that FB was censoring Americans what would have happened if 50% of Americans had dropped FB. Zuckerberg would have responded.
I find it ridiculous that you are still on FB but continue to cry about it.
I just stay on as an experiment, so I can see what they are still doing. And I do actually enjoy viewing some of those photos of my friends' kids or updates on their lives. I learn about upcoming events. And I still do make or share a few of my posts on Facebook. Some of them reach a few people and I've gotten new subscribers, including paid subscribers out of those posts.
So I'm getting something out of it.
But my main point has nothing to do with whether I'm occassionally using Facebook or not. My main point is that Mark Zuckerberg could have SAVED many lives and prevented misery of an epic scale if he had just let people post what they wanted. So I'm going to keep reminding people of this travesty, which I actually consider a "crime against humanity."
No, there was a court injunction that said nobody from the government could contact social media companies any more - to strong-arm them to do even more censorship.
But Facebook is censoring away, same as always. It's like they aren't afraid of any court ruling that could blowback on them in the future.
Wonderful article Bill. Maybe a great philosophical quote but unfortunately, rumsfield (can't capitalize his name due to lack of respect) is a piece of ______ (fill in the blank with whatever you choose). He was a very, very bad player and did very bad things which I'm sure his masters loved.
The scariest unknowable is just exactly how many young people were sterilized, and how many more will die in the ensuing years from the death jabs. Or maybe it's scarier that I have a pretty good idea of the general numbers we can expect.
I appreciate your critical thinking. I’m sure having a channel closed off makes you crazy. All you can do is what you’re doing: sharing your view.
An acquaintance on the Webb Telescope’s instrument package, ISIM, often mentioned this. For unknowns, mostly, they planned a 30% contingency, resource/money wise. (Known and known unknown risks were relatively easy to estimate contingencies for. For unknown unknowns they punted with the big figure.)
But NASA fostered a mentoring relationship between graybeards and freshouts. This probably muted the unk-unk impact to true unk-unks. They had extended, collegial status discussions. They paid as well as government permitted. They gave each person an allowance and let them order the computing machinery each wanted/needed.
I think it’s fair to make an analogy: we currently have admin types negating the greybeards in favor of magnifying the unk-unks.
My biggest concern is that what we seem to also have is greybeards willing to forget their grey to get along, and even actively ostracize other grey.
20-60-20 applies: 20% will excel “just puzz,” as my 4year old niece used to say. 20% will be problematic. The middle 60% may be harder to get through to, but they are the key to an overall trajectory.
Cov &vaccine effects require a specialized vocabulary and considerable study to even discuss. People are preoccupied: trying to raise kids and take care of their elders in a regimes where the tools for doing daily life are systematically taken away and a pan-national quasi-government is able to use media and subvert government and thought—they can’t be here or on Twitter all day. Or Facebook. They need clarity in short, sweet shots (no pun).
Your comment about unknown athletes, I always thought that, as I never was picked to play in gym class so I never went out for sports . I used to watch some nfl and when a team would make it all about one player such as Dion Sanders, I thought of the second string player standing there who was just a spare in case he got hurt. So much of that in work too where the extrovert gets noticed. An introvert like me was told I needed to be more approachable and show more teeth as in smile which is unnatural for me. The extrovert will ruin others to stay on top. Think of this present administration.
The stars do get all of the attention. But even the second-string guys who are on a team usually enjoy the experience of being a part of a team. Sports actually can produce great "life lessons" that come from sacrificing, working hard, pushing through adversity, learning leadership or responding to leadership ... making friends (from all walks of life), etc.
All of that was lost ... for the athletes who would never play at the college or pro level.
I recently realized that since I noticed the YouTube deleted the viral video about the California doctors calling out the lockowns and Covid hysteria in May 2020, I don't think that I have seen any viral videos ever again. I asked a few friends - "What have you noticed that's gone viral in the last year or so?" And got negatives from them all. Viral videos were a form of collective intelligence, which when the algorithms were honest and amplified the interest of the crowd, allowed the crowd to show what was important to the majority, or what the majority were interested in. The Censorship Industrial Complex, especially Facebook, Twitter, and Google have effectively killed the collective intelligence, and are now trying to replace it with their Woke AI. Try having a conversation with AI about Covid-19, climate change, or the Ukraine war. All you get back is propaganda.
After Rumsfeld breaks his arm like Chevy Chase in Spies Like Us, Rumsfeld and "hot under the collar" Myers Asked About Directed Energy Weapons (2003) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8tyi4O0Exw -- Cynthia Mckinney drills Rumsfeld & Meyers on UN child kidnapping, 9/11 wargames and the UN special security event day pre-scheduled for 9/11 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5X0F-kqHW8
Rumsfeld funded and trained the Afghan freedom fighters in the 1980's; then on 9/11, took control of the $500B per year of Opium in Afghanistan. Today, 20% of Afghani's are hooked on Heroin. Take away from the "Taliban"; the guys on horseback carrying guns with no bullets... "The greatest fighting force in the history of mankind" - Joe Biden. "Good Job Taliban" - Donald Trump. After 9/11, Afghan leaders asked the US "provide evidence against OBL, and we'll turn over OBL". No evidence was ever presented. (Given that the radio's OBL was carring don't work inside a cave and Afghanistan has no radio towers. And, as a bonus, flying jumbo jets at 580MPH into buildings, on the same day as Hurricane Erin; with only a 1 tenth of a second margin of error to miss the towers; using pilots that can't fly planes; is probably the worst "plan" ever devised by anyone, ever!) Then later, ISIS and ISIL were created in order to "steal oil" and sabotage competitors to US and Saudi-Aramco oil companies. Offically. (Libya & Syria). Then, they supposedly caught OBL and dumped his body in the Ocean. Then, OBL's #2, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was sent to Guantanimo Bay, where he said "nukes" would be set off if OBL was captured. Nukes never happened! So, who are the "terrorists" they were getting information from? And what information were they extracting that isn't fake?
Before I left Fb at the end of 2020 I exported all my comments and posts I had made. They do keep quite the database history.
I went scrolling through my 2020 history, from when it first became a thing in China, people dropping "dead" on streets, the PsyOps were just ramping up. All the way to the end of 2020. It was a lot. Lots of old fights with friends and strangers, very few allies in sanity.
And an embarrassing number of times I was downright nasty and counterproductive trying to move the needle. When it's one against the whole world facing attacks from every side, even from friends, fighting devolves, I swung wildly knowing I'd probably hit something. Even friends and potential allies.
I wonder if I/we hadn't all been so censored and we could feel the presence of other allies my tone would've been more measured and productive. What if's. Lots of them.
One thing I noticed above all else when reviewing my comments, I was right, 95% of the time. About very controversial issues in real time. The 5% I missed was more about the specifics of the paths to an end, that I was right about. I didnt fully appreciate how evil the evil we are facing really is. Or that the system is as corrupted from top to bottom as it is. I still had too much faith that it would protect us at the end of the day. My bad.
But I'll take my record of accuracy and place it next to any authorities or factcheckers record of accuracy anywhere, anytime about anything. And sometimes I pull info, research, insights from that .csv file vault that appears fresh and new. Insights and predictions made three years ago that are even more prescient today as events have caught up to where I saw they would inevitably lead.
You see, I learned at a young age if I tell the truth I don't have to worry about remembering the lies that get all tangled up and come out in the end. I did my research proficiently, from highly credible sources and used my own mind, analysis, pattern recognition and discernment. I searched for truth before I shared my thoughts. And truth stands the test of time.
What if? What if others had done the same instead of trusting the experts. Or trusting they were following real science instead of pseudoscience, the science of a narrative. That falls apart upon contact with truth in the end.
We tried. Against the forces we faced, we tried. We're tempered, hardened by the experience. The illusion that the system still worked is gone. That there are white knights riding in to protect us, hah! We're on our own. But we find community. Like many on this platform. We get innovative and creative, find ingenious ways to spread our truths. Outside the systems of control. That authorities are trying to tighten around us every single day.
But we persist. Thanks, Bill! For all you share. We try out new ways to reach newly open minds to hearing our words without dismissing us. As they see the world around them not making sense any more, and get curious enough to venture into dens of "conspiracy theorists." Or overhearing us in public and something we say strikes them into leaning in instead of pushing away. We persist. One mind at a time. Enough of us ants will take down this elephant. With God's divine help. Truth always wins. God is always found on the side of truth, never with the deceivers. Eternal truth is eternal.
Rumsfeld is a stand out in top tier of my dirtbag list w more toxic influence than any average pair of lifelong swamp dwellers including Members of Congress.
As for Rummy's “unknown unknowables” a fair number fall into profiteering schemes in my book with a few highly relevant to scamdemic profiteering and policies.. Rarely link to myself as a source but the condensed list I made for omissions in his obituaries have historic value for current context.
I really could have edited this column down to one sentence: We'll never know "what might have been."
A co-worker 35 years ago introduced me to "you don't know what you don't know!" as his phrase describing people in general but especially ones in over their head.
Or, you could re-phrase that: What you think you know ain't true.
Even people don't know what they don't know but what makes people different from the rest of life is that while we don't know what we don't know we have the ability to seek out and discover previously unaware of information. We need to NOT use their perverted, misleading, manipulative language.
Let us decide to use clear words, not the dumb new made-up Orwellian ones.
CENSORSHIP is to fit in place of their words mis, dis, mal and whatever they come up with to pair with information.
Information is POWER, and "they" are trying to keep us from having it.
Scr3w him.
Did you see Joe “Briben” mouth the toddler last week in Norway and then sniff her hair? It was bizarre.

I think that statement was brilliant.

Another known knowable.
While all the unknown unknowable you cite are as you describe, it is a known knowable that we were denied the right to find out.
My bet is they don't, too. At least COVID exposed how thoroughly rotten these people are, to those willing to see.
