The Real Goal of the Censorship Industrial Complex

One key: Silence all would-be influential dissenters via the Julian Assange message/treatment.

In my opinion, the sticks are probably more important. And they are bigger than this little twig.

Dr. Tess Lawrie just published a powerful article about a physician who’s been mercilessly attacked for decades for challenging the presumption that all vaccines are safe for children. Here’s the headline and sub-headline:

Dr Andrew Wakefield was right all along

His research on vaccine harms was "just the beginning.” Was an "ethically challenged man" recruited to keep him quiet?

In reading this article, I was struck (again) by the obvious modus operandi of the Establishment. Members of the Establishment can and will - and probably MUST - attack anyone who challenges the authorized narratives.

One key message is being sent: If you do challenge the authorized narrative, your life is going to become a living hell and pure misery. Your punishment will be severe. 

Any other person who would prefer to avoid similar consequences should refrain from following the example of these scalawag contrarians.

That is, the real goal of the institutions sending these messages is to bully and intimidate would-be contrarians into silence. The message: “Do NOT go down this path … or this is what will happen to you as well.”

By now, it’s simply impossible for would-be whistleblowers or skeptics of any authorized narrative to miss this “message,” which isn’t exactly subtle.

With a few noble and hope-preserving exceptions, the message has “taken.” Hundreds of thousands of potentially influential people who might have joined a grassroots effort to debunk false narratives and attack the massive spread spread of real disinformation have effectively been cowered into silence. 

This is an example of yet another “unknown unknowable.” We’ll never know how the world might be different (and better) if these voices had not been bullied into silence.

The world as we know it now depends upon the protection of false (and harmful) “narratives.” 

To cement false narratives as “settled science” or “infallible truths” those with great power in society implement a “carrot-and-sticks” approach to ensure compliance or protect dubious narratives.

Here are the carrots …

Those individuals who “play ball” are rewarded either financially or they get to keep prestigious jobs and continue to move up the career ladder.

Here are the sticks …

Those who don’t “play ball,” like Dr. Andrew Wakefield (and tens of thousands of other examples), are attacked and their careers destroyed, their lives made miserable … providing an example to others who might follow the same paths.

What the non-brainwashed population has learned in recent years is how eager and enthusiastic those with real power are to employ these tools to enforce compliance and protect a Status Quo that’s become mind-bogglingly corrupt.

In their quest to enforce their world agendas, these “leaders” have gone from brazen to beyond brazen. The real lesson is that absolute power does corrupt absolutely. The principle of fairness - or tolerance for dissenting views - no longer exists.

Those who control, and profit from, false narratives have achieved perfect vertical and horizontal integration throughout all the key institutions in the world. Leaders within these organizations are either ruthless … or they lack the moral principles to tolerate and defend those who express dissenting opinions.

It’s easy to see how this worked with Covid …

Those who read Substack newsletters like my own are very aware of all of this. We’ve all picked up on the “carrots and sticks” employed to ensure compliance with the Covid narratives.

For example, the “scientists,” public health experts, doctors and hospitals who supported the authorized Covid narrative were literally paid vast sums of money for following the CDC and NIH’s medical protocols.

If a patient was classified as having Covid, the hospital and medical provider received a significant financial bonus. Using ventilators got them more money. Prescribing remdesivir (“run-death-is-near”) was a source of extra profit. 

Congress, tapping into the unlimited line of credit from its Magic Printing Press, kicked in extra money to reward people, organizations, states and cities who went along with all the harmful and unnecessary  “mitigation” measures.

Scientists at colleges who produce studies that fit the narrative received major grants from Dr. Fauci’s pool of bribery funds.

The mainstream press and the scientific journals were rewarded with advertising spends (and Bill Gates’ journalism grants) if they continued to promote all the false or dubious narratives.

I believe the spending allocations for Covid protocols now exceed $5 trillion dollars. If this figure is “only” $2.5 trillion, that would still buy up every carrot farm in the world (indeed, probably every farm of any kind in the world).

As noted, Dr. Wakefield is far from the only doctor who’s been beaten with the proverbial stick for the “crime” of having a different medical opinion. The author of the above-mentioned article, Dr. Lawrie, reports she’s also been attacked. 

Dr. Meryl Nass, one of the most important contrarian Substackers, is currently spending her own money to try to get her medical license back. You can multiply her example by thousands of other scientists and physicians who pushed back against the false narratives and were promptly targeted for retribution (“message sent.”)

It’s now public record that Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins of the NIH targeted the authors of the Great Barrington Declaration for severe reprisals. For some interesting reason, both public health leaders also pushed the “natural origins” theory of this virus and made sure those who disagreed were censored and pilloried by sycophant allies in the mainstream press.

Dr. Lawrie’s article about Dr. Wakefield is important because it shows that dissenters from the Big Pharma narratives were targeted for severe and sustained retribution decades ago. That is, this effort to punish skeptics is not new. 

And it’s not just people who challenge faux or dubious “science” and medical narratives who are being targeted by every important organization in the world. Every truth-seeker who is trying to expose corruption and lies is a target for the same reprehensible treatment.

Julian Assange is the key case study …

In recent years I’ve become convinced the real goal of the State (and its many “partners”) is to punish those who challenge any of the key false narratives.

The best example is probably the case study of Julian Assange, who committed the “crime” of publishing TRUE information about the Military Industrial Complex (most significantly by exposing likely war crimes in the Iraq War).

After he did this, Assange felt it necessary to flee to the sanctuary of a friendly embassy in London. After several years, the governments of the UK and America figured out a way to arrest Assange and he’s spent the last several years isolated (and silent) in prison.

At this writing, the U.S. government is still trying to extradite this Australian citizen to America to try him for “treason” and keep him in prison until he dies.

Surely I am not the only person who’s noticed that no other would-be Julian Assange has created another WikiLeaks type organization since then.

Apparently, every other potential truth-seeking publisher has decided they aren’t going to risk going to prison for the rest of their lives by exhibiting the temerity of exposing U.S. government lies.

So the “message” authorities sent … took. This stick worked just as intended.

The same with Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning.

The message is don’t embarrass your rulers. Anyone who challenges us can expect severe and swift punishment.

The Jan. 6 ‘Insurrection’ …

The same message has been sent to the many people arrested for the January 6 “Insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol.

I’m not sure how many of these protestors are still in jail today, but the number is large. Many of these protestors - most of whom simply walked through a public building - have been jailed without bail for years and some have been kept in atrocious, solitary-confinement conditions.

I don’t mind stating the truth: What happened on January 6, 2021 was NOT a real “insurrection.” However, what followed was without question an effort to make sure a real insurrection never happens.

By now, plenty of contrarian writers have noted the terrifying growth of the Censorship Industrial Complex.

But I think most of us are missing the real point of this operation. Yes, it is designed to make sure alternative opinions don’t “go viral” and thus challenge any of the Covid “authorized narratives.”

But I strongly suspect the real goal is to bully and silence anyone who might challenge any of the myriad faux narratives (dealing with wars, climate change, digital currency, the importance of “woke” ideologies, concealing the true state of the economy, etc).

The Establishment actually fears only two things: 

• Losing control … and thus losing their continued wealth and power and their ability to complete their unfinished agendas. 

• Being exposed as criminals themselves, which very possibly would result in them spending the rest of their lives in the same type prison cell as Julian Assange, or even worse - possible death sentences.

Both of these unpleasant scenarios have effectively been taken off the table by simply silencing the voices of those people who might expose their nefarious deeds.

I think I know the basic history of how America became an independent nation.

How this happened is that a few true leaders - people like Patrick Henry, Thomas Paine and indeed all our nation’s revered “Founders” - started agitating about tyranny and attacking the colonies’ rulers, the crown of Great Britain.

In retrospect, the mistake King George probably made was not arresting these key leaders of a real insurrection when he could have. He didn’t send a powerful enough message that dissent would NOT be allowed.

Skip forward 248 years and our rulers have conspired to make sure they don’t make the same mistake.  Any person who starts gaining traction with any speech that has the potential to overthrow our corrupt rulers (aka really “draining the swamp”) … is beaten with a big stick and silenced.

Such people are labelled as “extremists” and  dangerous “traitors” when all they’re really doing is trying to point out important but taboo truths about the true character of society’s ruling classes.

The now massive Censorship Industrial Complex goes well beyond muffling dissent on Covid narratives. It also makes criminals out of truth-tellers. 

This ever-expanding operation almost ensures modern society will never produce the equivalents of Patrick Henry and Thomas Paine, figures bold enough to “speak truth to power.”  Brave people can try to do this, but they better be prepared to receive the same treatment as Julian Assange … or Dr. Andrew Wakefield.

The bottom line is false and harmful narratives are protected by silencing and intimidating the potential leaders who might expose the true evil-doers in our world. 

So far, this  giant “protection racket” is working perfectly from the perspective of those who want their power and control to continue to be protected.

That is, the carrots are working … and the sticks are working … For now, anyway.
