I can guarantee you those content nazi's probably do NOT work for the companies, they are some sort of 'volunteer' force, like google uses the useful idiots to do their maps and stuff for them. So long as that involves wearing clothes and changing hair and makeup and even insisting that they be called another name, I don't care.
And I mean that in practice as my teenage kids have "trans" friends. As one of them said to my daughter who in typical fashion bitched about her "right wing" father, he(she) basically bitch slapped my daughter, saying, "What are you talking about? I wish I had your life, with happily married parents and plenty of money for everything you want. Your father has never been anything but welcoming and polite to me. He has welcomed me to your dinner table many times and always been friendly. My father is in prison and each of my three other siblings have a different father, none of whom I've ever even met. My mother is a high school dropout who screams at me that I am going to Hell when she drinks."
To repeat. There are two human genders. Everything else is fun wordplay that does not matter to anyone but those involved. But to tell them that there are - as San Francisco now does - NINETY-SEVEN GENDERS is just stupid.
