Cutting-room-floor text:

Gary Johnson Was Hillary’s Secret Weapon ….

One take-away from the 2016 election is that Hillary won the popular vote by 2.86 million votes (48 percent to 45.9 percent). This, I guess, is supposed to show that America democracy should do away with the electoral college.

Simple math shows that Hillary’s popular vote margin is entirely explained by the vote results in one super liberal state (California) where she won by 3.45 million votes. Hillary also won New York state by 1.5 million votes.

Take out California, New York and states like Massachusetts and Hillary would have lost the popular vote by a landslide. As it is, Trump won 33 of the 50 U.S. states (66 percent of the states). I didn’t do the math, but Trump probably won 90 percent of the U.S. counties.

Trump could have won several more states except for the fact that Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson grabbed 2 to 9 percent of the vote in every state. If the Russian trolls wanted to ensure Trump won the 2016 election, they should have just paid off or blackmailed Johnson and got him to drop out of the race as he took millions of votes that otherwise would have probably gone to Trump.

Or the trolls - who are the masters of the compelling political ads - could have run more negative ads, convincing voters to vote for Trump over Johnson … but, for some reason, the trolls didn’t do this.

I always thought the facebook advertising was completely disingenuous as proof of Russian interference. The spend was inconsequential in proportion to the hundreds of millions spent on a presidential campaign. The even more ridiculous example of collusion is when people say Trump reached out to Russia by saying "Russia if you're listening" in a televised presidential debate. Trump is the worst Russian asset ever if he chose to collude on national T.V. I think Dan Goldman used this example recently. It must suck to have to say things you don't believe all the time.

Yes, and to make your valid point even harder, you don't have to take out states like Massachusetts. I don't have the vote totals handy, but maybe just California and not even New York. That's how hard states like California tilt the math. Which is exactly why the founders, God bless them, invented the electoral college to prevent a simple tyranny of the majority.

This essay circles back to the "Russia hacked an election" scam/false narrative. This probably was an effort to keep a non-authorized leader (Trump) from becoming president. If this happened (which it did in 2016), our Shadow Rulers wanted to make sure such an event could never happen again .... so they orchestrated all this faux outrage about Trump and the "Russians" stealing an election ("These people are attacking our democracy!").

But the real goal was to prevent non-club members from scuttling their FUTURE plans. They wanted to send a powerful message to critics and would-be critics who they know will attack their planned future agendas. They did the same thing with the "message" they sent J-6 protestors and the message they sent to dangerous truth-tellers like Julian Assange.

In this example, the narrative's villain was "Russia," but the tools they weaponized would be expanded to apply to domestic "threats" to their agendas - to anyone who could be labelled an "extremist" (a threat to democracy) or a "science denier" (a threat to "One Health") etc. What they have constructed is really a giant and hyper-aggressive Protection Racket implemented to allow our rulers to increase their control in the future - by silencing critics who could harpoon their programs.

In this piece, I didn't get into WHY this was so important to our rulers and HAD to be done. But this post might touch on that answer.

Off topic, but I just finished watching the 4-hour panel organized by Sen. Johnson yesterday. Powerful and terribly important. The latter speakers are more important and better than the early speakers, who are also very important.

Just pick a spot and start watching. Shame on the MSM for not covering this. Shame on 99 other senators not supporting a similar event.

It's time to stop being surprised that the media doesn't do any honest reporting and seriously consider what their current function is and what it means for the USA.

What disturbs me is that "they" know that 50 to 60 percent of the population will buy their bogus narratives. This tells me their multi-decade project to "dumb down" the American population is ... working just as they hoped.

Great post! It's crazy that the mainstream media and political class cry so loudly about Russia's minimal advertising impact in 2016, but say nothing about a foreign-born oligarch (George Soros) spending millions on local prosecutor races in order to elect committed communists who will promote anarcho-tyranny by refusing to prosecute violent crime while unleashing the full wrath of the state upon anyone who resists criminal violence. Talk about straining a gnat but swallowing a camel.

Great point, Daniel. How much money has Soros spent in the last two decades trying to implement his agenda for the world? He hasn't been banned by anyone.

The Russia (x3) Hoax is another example of the seemingly insurmountable information/propaganda hurdle we need to contend with before you ever start getting to the "real" arguments. People still bring it up to me as a justification for dismissing Trump (or for delegitimizing me in a political discussion).

And Bill - just FYI - I think you meant "Adam Schiff" (not Peter). Apologies - there wasn't a more private way of communicating this.

There is a difference between advertising and marketing.

All the "mad men" in advertisement these days have turned into wokist dimwits left and right and she/he pathetic - I suspect most of em are fags who wouldn't even know how to market a product properly - all they have is postmodernist group-think ideology and the value of that is nit - nichts - nada - nothing - tis worthless hogwash evidently obvious - and the truth is revealing itself day by day.

So - I say that "tongue-in-cheek" just as the text in this article is presented to the discerning reader.

By the way the meaning of "fag" is a as follows:

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fag

It ain't 6 of 6 (noun 4) in the context above - but I'm betting most thought it was. 4 of 6 is probably most accurate in context: to serve as a fag (see FAG entry 3) especially in an English public school

See - how biased so many are. Advertising just appeals to folk's emotions whereas marketing if done proper demonstrates a product that has merit. So there is a need for marketing to get the word out but most advertising these days is just group-think propaganda - cause they must think folks are easily programmed?

Sort of like media reporting on scale accurate has value whereas most media nowadays is just like advertising - tis propaganda. They must thing the goyim are cattle cause you know who "owns" the propaganda - don't you Bill? A holy reaping wind fearsome comes their way I sense.

~

I knew RussiaGate was hoax years ago just like I knew Covid was a scam/sham from the get-go....I'm not ringing my own bell, I'm just saying some of us can tell the difference twixt a Taylor Swift got no substance - she is propaganda from TN - versus the quality of a good product such as a generator burns both propane or gasoline and has REAL value lasting and important. There is a difference and slowly but surely, folks seem to be figuring it out.

~

I hope folks are ready to confront the lies - reject the propaganda of it all sent from a few tricksters fixing to have the tables turned - and then I hope we all together who know better have the rope needed to hang em high - justice demands retribution for the crimes committed by the hateful elitist against peasants (both women and men) who are more than fedup.....justice beckons - just like Odessa does.

Yea, let's take your $1m high end estimate for what was spent. That's NOTHING in the advertising world, to move a major amount of people one way or another. If that was spread across two years, it's less than NOTHING. It's basically a forgettable nit on Facebook's income statement and that's it. And 14 clicks confirms it. Nobody looked. Nobody cared. Nobody was persuaded. And anybody with a microgram of marketing or advertising sense knows that. Which is not Schiff, who is a partisan moron.

I would like someone to explain the following to me. Suppose Russia was instrumental in getting their preferred candidate, DJT, elected. He was their stooge and in their debt. If that were the case, why on earth did they wait until he was out of office to invade Ukraine? Wouldn't things been a lot smoother with a US President who was basically a Russian agent ?

I remember, way back when this was news, thinking that the whole Russia-internet-trolls-hacked-the-election idea was clearly absurd. I seem to recall that the trolls spent about $50K on ads before the election. Yet somehow that was supposed to have overcome the $1B+ that Hillary spent. I mentioned this to the librarian at the library where I volunteer, and she, being a True Believer in Russiagate, said it was all due to some magical social-media-multiplying-effect. But yet again, somehow this magical multiplying effect didn't work for Hillary, only for the Russian trolls.
