Seriously, we need some follow-up journalism here. How did this nanny get those jobs (through Amazon) and who is making those house payments ... and why?

I guess Kamala knows all about this this, right?

When I wrote this story I thought about Bill Clinton and Monica. Before their scandal broke, someone got her a job at the UN. That someone was Clinton's long-time "fixer," Bill Richardson, who was then America's ambassador to the UN.

Richardson (or is it Richards?) later became governor of New Mexico, and allegedly was a big client of Jeffrey Epstein, who bough the biggest "ranch" in New Mexico. Why did a guy from Brooklyn want a secluded ranch in New Mexico?

Anyway, these people have lots of "fixers." And the watchdog press never follows the money.

Apparently if you're probably a middle-aged man and just now assuming most the elites are constantly immoral, you're behind!

Everything I read of history taught me this was so even before I was old enough to fully grasp the evils that are committed and brushed off like nothing.

I can't imaging being super rich and influential then wanting a pud job.

"Hey, what's the easiest, stupidest, most boring job where I can still be rich and feel important.

Now we know why Kamala's so keen on abortion. I wonder how many she had on her rise to the top?

Heels up Harris may have had many. I don't know, but I'm very glad she did, IF any were needed.

I don't think we're getting the full truth here and this story shouldn't quickly go away. From the NY Post story, readers learn:

"The affair was disclosed to President Biden’s vetting committee four years ago before he chose Harris as his running mate on the 2020 ticket, a source familiar with the conversations told CNN."

Comment: Nobody cared about this on the VP vetting committee? Did Ms. Naylor have a baby and put it up for adoption or did Emhof make her get an abortion?

"... The person also said Emhoff told Harris about the affair well before they got married and that the relationship ended before Emhoff began dating Harris."

Comment: Most women who learn their boyfriend had an affair with his children's nanny and impregnated her, might decide this was deal-breaker revelation about the man's character and would end the relationship. But not Kamala Harris. I wonder if he really gave her the full story before they got married. Or, if he did, and this didn't bother her, that's worth noting as well.

Also, if this came up in the vetting process, how did no newspaper or magazine not get this story in the last 15 years? Or, they probably did, and simply spiked the story - just like they covered up Biden's obvious dementia for 4 years. So it's more of the same for our "watchdog" press.

It will be interesting to see who does any digging from this point forward. If someone does, Kamala might end up being replaced as the nominee. Bring on Hillary or Michelle Obama?

a) "Did Ms. Naylor have a baby and put it up for adoption or did Emhof make her get an abortion?" --it's also possible Naylor decided she herself wanted an abortion no matter what Emhof might have thought.

Of course it won’t derail her campaign. He just did what liberals hold dear. Have an affair, facilitate an abortion.

She should get a nice bump from this.

the Beatles already knew long time ago. Money can't buy me love. Better to have some real happiness in a small house with a little veggie garden than to earn your way up prostituting yourself, or providing prostitutes to other stinking rich people. And do you think they are happy? The few richer than average I know are not. And they are nowhere near these completely lost people.

The constant hypnotic brainwashing children are forced to endure is designed to beat all of the questions out of them. They ask the questions and you obediently answer. You are trapped.

Turn the tables on them and start asking (as king) questions.

Questions like why are you guilty according to international law of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide?

By paying taxes am I not guilty of aiding and abetting war crimes according to international law?

One possible answer to the question of how Harris kept this hidden until now may be that she's known (or feared) as the queen of oppo research.

More may be coming. A black woman at a Trump rally (yes, that happened) openly mocked Harris for being Willie Brown's arm candy.

Bill, its funny that as a result of the Enlightenment we decapitated the Monarchs and the idea of nobility of Divine Right in order to get a globe filled with progressive globalistic autocrat elites and the birth of the expert class and all of the entourage of supporting characters. Nothing has really changed at all except this new expert class is couched in the language of being more "scientific" and more "democratic"--horse feathers!

You go Bill!! Keep exposing the outrageous hypocricy of these alleged “do gooders!” But if you attempt to point out how this is actually worse than Trump…. “ Emhoff is not running for office!” … and then we have Kamala Harris who evidently had no qualms about having a long term affair with SF Mayor Willie Brown, 30 years her senior…. The hypocricy is endless!

I define the elite as being very wealthy and powerful. They have the power to get there above average kids in an expensive school. The family has connections so they get a very good job. This is nepotism or favoritism or which runs rampant in corporations as well as government.

Bill, one lowly set of parents who with dedication to God, decide to home school their child K-8 or K-12 brings their kids access to more smarts and a consistent worldview then the best of the offerings for the elite. The elite are trained make up their own worldview as they go along as long as it fits into the inclusive global hive mind that is now SOP. The exception being that the elites are trained to see themselves above the fray and being part of an exclusive new nobility.

I recently enjoyed a very interesting thread at our Brownstone Writers' Group about home-schooling. The options are expensive private schools, awful public schools or home-schooling ... and more people (that can) are choosing Option C.

Option Four: Classical Kids curriculum, available even in podunk towns like mine, through our Reformed PCA church. There is a tuition cost, but it's modest by comparison to private schools. Our Classical classes are taught by a mix of moms from our congregation (all of whom are escapees from the government schools), and hired tutors.

An article needs to be done on his daughter, the "model." Girl is a poster child of what happens to children of socialists and divorce. She is one messed up kid.

Expand full comment

What I love about this article is the line, "where do the elites get their money?" If they are "political elites" then you know they are riding the gravy train right over the rainbow. Not to take a shot at lawyers (but I'm about to because lawyers produce NOTHING and add no value to any system), but the last time that the Democratic Party nominated anyone for President that was not a politically connected lawyer was way back in 1976 and his name was Jimmy Carter. They have not a single nominee in 48 years with a business background. They all live in a fantasy land complete with an ivory/ebony tower where they look down upon those that they claim to want to help.

Thanks, Jeffrey. I thought that was one of my deeper references in this piece. What I was suggesting is that the monied class will always support the captured or corrupt Status Quo system - that has been so beneficial to this class.

Expand full comment

I got that point clearly, and you were spot on! That monied class is also very clearly defined. Very rich people in the finance industry (people that create nothing, just buy and sell) and progressive, activist attorneys (who also create nothing) that promote a pacification of the masses by providing free goods and services. That’s it. Republicans, if they really wanted to be “different” would immediately begin pushing for a balanced budget and begin trimming the billions wasted on military spending. I spent some time in Huntsville, Alabama, and I can tell you first hand that Uncle Sam wastes plenty of taxpayer money on the military.

I was at the GA capital when Jimmy Carter was due to speak to a joint session of the legislature there. We were put in a line to greet him and his family as they came through. I will never forget the sight of "Miss Lillian" in her full length mink coat sashaying into the page room ignoring everyone else. People bought the "aw, shucks, I'm just a peanut farmer" act for too long.

Your comment - "They must get it from “somewhere” in “the system,” a Status Quo-system they probably want to perpetuate and protect - as this is the system that allowed them to become elites in the first place." - hits the nail squarely on the head. You can't buy 'connections'. And, as you point out, 'lofty tuition checks' & connections can yield absolutely nothing without the mettle of the recipient of such largesse. And, of course, there is always the cultural proverb “Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations.”
