My vaccine death story set readership records
But here’s what depresses me about this story ….
My article on the vaccine death of Derek McIntosh has blown away my Substack record for “reads.” As of last check, more than 62,000 people had read this article (in a time span of about 21 hours).
The reason such a large number of readers found this article is because Citizen Free Press linked to the story … So thank you, Citizen Free Press.
But from a journalist’s perspective, there’s really nothing special about this article. All I did was interview two people (Kirstin McIntosh and her father, Jeff McIntosh). I also watched one 30-minute podcast where SGT Reports interviewed Derick’s son, Calvin, and his sister.
In my journalism career, I’ve written thousands of stories like this. I do a couple of interviews, then summarize what I learned or think are the most newsworthy portions of my interviews.
But one thing does stand out about this particular story: No journalist in the mainstream press wrote this story.
A quick ‘by-the-numbers’ …
From previous research, I’ve learned that approximately 30,000 "journalists" in America currently work at newspapers. To this figure, one might add 10,000 other journalists who work at TV stations or Internet sites. So there are about 40,000 "mainstream" journalists working full-time in America.
Factual comment: All 40,000 could have written this story.
It would have taken a journalist only a couple of hours to do these interviews and then write this story.
If any mainstream journalists had done this, we now know that the story would have generated an impressive number of reads, clicks and comments. In this sense, it would have been good for the news organization's business.
But, still, almost a year after Derek's death, no “mainstream’ journalist chose to do this.
Here’s how these numbers are represented in medical studies:
N = 40,000 - number of mainstream journalists.
N = 0 - number of mainstream journalists who deemed this a "newsworthy" story.
By my calculation, the above two figures represent 100-percent censorship of this story in the mainstream media. Or you might say that this confirms 100 percent "groupthink" in this profession.
That is, every one of these 40,000 "journalists" KNOW that they cannot write or publish a story about an American citizen who died from the Covid vaccine.
In a nutshell, expressed mathematically, that’s what we are up against. That's our bleak reality. The real story of our times - the most disturbing story and the one with the largest implications for our country’s future - is that the important stories will NOT be told by mainstream journalists.
The good news is that sites like Citizen Free Press - which has millions of visitors each month - will publish important stories and does not censor stories that don’t fit the authorized narrative.
Substack is the same. In fact, Citizen Free Press (CFP) now finds many of its most important stories from Substack newsletters.
CFP certainly doesn’t find these stories from The New York Times. That is, “all the news that’s fit to print” actually now comes from independent journalists (or “citizen journalists”) who could never be hired at today’s (truth-concealing) mainstream press news organizations.
I was happy to write this story as this is what the family wanted - for their story to reach as many people as possible.
Nothing will bring back Derek, but this story may save another family member from suffering the same anguish and heartbreak as the McIntosh family.
The public also needs to know if public officials are covering up large numbers of deaths that should never have occurred.
As a journalist, this is the type stories we’re supposed to tell. We’re supposed to write stories that matter and present facts that might make the powerful uncomfortable.
I know what happened to Derek McIntosh and, now, so do a lot more readers.
But the question I’m thinking about with this follow-up piece is what happened to those 40,000 “journalists?” How did every single one of them become part of the problem?
Is there one mainstream journalist left in America who wants to do his most important job, who’s willing to tell the truth and cares about justice?
If he or she exists, where are they? Where are the stories they wrote on the hundreds of thousands (or millions) of other vaccine victims? When did telling the truth become something that is off-limits to journalists?
They don't cover the story because they CAN'T cover the story -- these 'journalists' are simply tools of the rich and powerful, sometimes set to attack mode, sometimes cover our ass mode, sometimes ignore everything mode. The narrative is set far above their pay grades!
Great article, and dovetails nicely with my own from yesterday about this subject!

For those of you who don’t know (and why would you), Ben Collins is a reporter for NBC News. He’s paid to be a reliable mouthpiece for whatever government wants him to say. So are many of the other ‘journalists’ who are attacking Taibbi for simply releasing A FEW internal communications regarding censorship on Twitter and the government’s role in that censorship.
Know what my initial reaction was, and what I would think would be the initial reaction of all journalists?
“LET ME SEE THE FILES, TAIBBI!”
The very little of that I saw was from people who were banned from social media or part of a major news story. Crickets from the ‘media’.
But that’s no surprise at all. The story is about government directing its preferred narrative via controlled media outlets. The media isn’t going to cover it because — you should already know this one! — government is directing its preferred narrative via controlled media outlets!
It’s a crying shame mainstream media and journalists have sold their souls for money. They will not write or report truth which inevitably exposes the dirty hands that feed them. I don’t know how reporters and journalists sleep at night? Don’t they have families, doesn’t this spell they are under concern them even just a little?
