Have been very disappointed in Mr King who, it turns out, never really believed that his government could be capable of such evils, unless of course it was led by Donald Trump, then of course it IS evil personified. But only President Trump. Everyone else is fine, great folks only care about the little guys. That the man who wrote The Stand could believe that Fauci is a saint boggles the mind. What has happened to that lost generation, the hippies of the 60’s who hated the government and everything it stood for? That they now firmly believe everything the government says is astonishing. And depressing. I pray to be a little wiser in my upcoming dotage.

I've read pretty credible info which says King is part of deep state - when you think about it, it makes a lot of sense and may well be the reason why he thinks Fauci is a saint (he's probably the worst of all genocidal murderers in history) and why he hates ONLY Trump. He did deal in a lot of very dark stuff in his novels IMO, which is why I quit reading him years ago. btw, Bill, we discussed possibility of me working with you a while back. Sorry I didn't get back to you. We moved - actually I did all the work as my elderly husband became quite ill and couldn't walk so all my time has been spent caring for him, doing all the housework, cooking, moving in, etc. and now I have some health problems. Nothing fatal, just very tired and very busy with a bad case of depression. I've been watching this movie since 1981 and am at my wit's end quite honestly. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but it's been really crazy from Aug. until last week. Hope you had a good Christmas. From what I"ve read it does look like white hats are winning and are close to victory. Let's hope.

Thank you Julie, much appreciated. Yes, many of us are boomers - we grew up in a much freer time and remember what freedom was like. Some younger folks have no idea what our lives were like and what we think about things - many of us went to lots of protests to protect our freedoms. Most of us knew early on the govt was corrupt; Vietnam war was a huge clue for one. I've known lots of Vietnam vets, every single one has horror stories about our govt. So yes, we feel we need to help clean up the mess deep state has created - it's our last gift to America, at least for me. I'm an old lady, if they kill me or imprison me, I won't last long and I'm at end of my life anyway - also we're retired and have time to do research. Thank you for knowing & understanding this!!

Ditto. I think I have just about every book he has written, including the Bachman books. A majority in hardcover. Even have audio forms of some of them.

'Giving up' BudLight was a no-brainer, never touched the stuff anyway. Pretty much the same for Target. Disney was more challenging just because of the various outlets it owns, but did that too. But, admittedly, it will be a tough choice if King comes out with a new book. So disappointed in the direction he took. Wonder if his son is following suit?

As a boomer I can tell you the kids in the 60s weren't rebels in the way you might think. Anti-government, anti-war was IN. Pro-establishment narrative was uncool. It was the opposite of today. Sure there were a few principled rebels, like always. Most were as much followers then as they are now, following the easy path of thinking, or pretending to think, like their peers.

I lived the ‘60’s, was politically active as a radical left individual. Hippies were not that large a group and were generally not politically aware in any real sense. They didn’t resist, organize, or fight back. They dropped out. Politically they were irrelevant. We were aware. Of their irrelevance at the time.

What separates us from the protagonists in the Twilight Zone series is they were truly alone. We have Substack and a handful of other information exchange platforms, have begun to sort ourselves out in our day-to-day lives with others who are awake held closer than those who are not. That 15% or so not feeling completely isolated, totally alone makes a big difference. And would've made a big difference in the Twilight Zone episodes if they found just one other "sane" person in the twisted reality of the absurd they found themselves in. So there's that. For now, anyways.

Good point, Fox. We're not as alone as those TZ main characters. Still, four years in one might think our numbers would have made more of a difference in exposing the monsters. The real villains are still safe ... but maybe fewer of us have completely lost it because we realize we're not completely alone. Our numbers are actually growing ... which is a good thing.

Thing is, our antagonists know this. They watched TZ, too. And study us as we study them. Even Substack is under their watchful, learning, adapting eyes. We can't kid ourselves that they have better things to do than read what the most intelligent minds of their opponents are saying to each other - Hi watcher!! The moment they feel like they can or must shut down information exchanges like Substack they will. And then we'll feel as isolated as the TZ characters. Unless we are building our community of like-mindeds now, in ways that are immune from their suppression of avenues of connection.

We must use their attention to our advantage, not be frightened of it. If we moderate our thoughts, speak fearfully they will take our self-censorship as a victory. Whereas the more of us dissenting they see the less likely they are to proceed to even harsher repression.

There's truly safety in numbers, herd immunity. If we shrink our numbers voluntarily to the point they see/believe that their final victory is in hand they will make the final brutal assault on dissenters, as a pack of lions or hyenas make their final brutal assault on the gazelle's that straggle, are isolated from the rest of the herd. We must always speak our truth, unafraid, knowing and fully accepting the consequences for speaking truth. Not desirous of the consequences, but aware that there may come a day when we are the prey in their jaws. And dissent anyways.

If it plays out like it's playing out in China it'll be a never-ending game of cat and mouse. One dissenting communications method becomes too popular sharing too much third-rail truths between too many, is shut down, culprits punished, new method rises, gains popularity providing same outlet, grows too popular, shut down. Over and over this repeats. Dissent movements keep the flame alive, but the cat-mouse is effective at making sure dissenters never grow large enough to threaten their government.

I don’t think Substack is going to survive 2024. It will be EO’d into oblivion, or it will be swamped with AI bots, or AI will rewrite everything to conform or make it obvious jibber jabber. Imagine posting something, then reading it an hour later only to find that it now makes no sense. How much more time would you spend writing? I think every form of electronic information that does not conform to the narrative will be eliminated. For public safety. They are attempting every possible thing to prevent Trump from being fraudulently “beaten” by the USG in an election. So far, it is not working, and he is not quitting. I don’t think they want to JFK him but time is running out. My guess is that Martial Law will be declared due to some fake cyber or paramilitary “attack”, (either one actually organized and run by USG) or they will release a more effective bioweapon. Maybe they’ll use Bruce’s Anthrax. Something to lock everyone in their houses, and take away all of their money.

"Rod Serling didn’t tell us how to get out of The Twilight Zone." The answer is knowing and speaking out the truth. Truth sheds light to dispel darkness--darkness is where The Zone wins. The mouth is connected to our inner man and must speak out the truth to keep us from letting the lies of The Zone drive us towards disconnection from reality or to demoralization. Thank you and many others who are writing and exposing the truth. The second way to escape The Zone is understanding the realities that the world's peoples are entrenched in a cosmic war against Satan and his minions and our sin; and the only way of escape from them is thru God's Son Jesus Christ--hence the good news of his birth and declaring of the angels: "Peace on Earth to those whom God is pleased." Bill, another interesting parallel media epic is the movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers (original). Although I can only remember two episodes of THE TWILIGHT ZONE, my favorite was titled "The Midnight Sun," and played 17 November 1961. It's all about "Global Boiling" and "The Climate Crisis" (or maybe "Catastrophe") and provided Margaret Thatcher a great story line to break a coal-miners' strike in the 1980s. It also has a surprise ending!

Earlier today I was thinking about all the propaganda used to condition people (especially children) that I have witnessed over the years. I remember certain children in second grade who told me that their church offered "the only true religion." The military (from which I was fortunate not to get involved) teaches people to murder other people - and the story of the 1914 Christmas Truce brings this to light better than almost anything else I have read.

As we witness the genocide of thousands of people in Gaza, and see our United States supporting this atrocity, I realize how totally indoctrinated some people are to support such a tragedy.

Back on the Ides of March of 2020, our whole world seemed to turn upside down due to some "virus." At the time I did not know what to think, but I came up with my own interpretation: on one side, this was a deadly pathogen that required extraordinary measures to protect people; on the other side the whole thing was a scam and a fraud - and the truth lay somewhere between these two extremes. As time went on, the scam and fraud seemed more and more likely.

Thanks, Bill, for all your great articles!

If everyone in his house and town doesn't keep him happy, he kills them or turns them into some kind of monster. Together the two of us took a ride down 40 stories. Never being a bashful kid I asked him point blank if the Twilight Zone really exists. He looked at me with a grin, took a drag off his cigarette (in those days people used to smoke everywhere including elevators) and said “yes sonny, indeed it’s real!” It never really impacted me until 2020 when it became so obvious that I’m living in the fifth dimension.

John: that article is one of the most well-sourced articles I've seen in years. Very well done, kudos! I remember the 1960s and the chaos of it and my parents trying to make sense of what was going on.

As a side note, I know for a fact that D O J has been compromised since 1981 and probably before. I know this because my dad, a very honest and patriotic good man, was threatened by D O J that year. He was born in 1920 and came from absolutely nothing, worked hard since he was 6 y.o. ran his own public relations business, became a mustang admiral in navy after being in WW2 and worked with Ronald Reagan when he was gov of CA. In 1980 he was one of Reagan's top advisors in campaign for president. After he became top advisor to Ed Meese, Reagan's top advisor. After a year of serving in that capacity, D O J came to him and told him he had to quit or they would completely ruin him in every single newspaper in America. Funny thing is that my dad had been a journalist at one time and knew every editor of every major paper in the U.S. - but still the deep state is so powerful and was even then, that they could threatened and scare even good people into going along with them. My dad was forced to quit - it was probably the lowest point of his entire life. He totally believed in Reagan and thought he could do some good and give back to his country. I have a picture of him with Pres. Reagan and Ed Meese - it still hurts for me to look at it. They had nothing on my dad but it didn't matter, they can make things up - one of their tactics is to get their targeted person drunk until they pass out or put something in their drink, then put a child next to them and make it look like a sex scandal. My guess is D O J crime goes back to at least JFK.

He wanted to expose the biggest thing they were hiding, which was the truth about UFOs. I highly recommend everyone read it. If you want to know more about the truth of UFO's read the next book in the series, "Antarctica's Hidden History" another very well-sourced book. Americans need to know our REAL history.

I played in several football games at Troy with a visiting team back in the mid 70s. Was always a good game experience at the Div. 2 level way back when.

You might have played against Troy teams coached by Charlie Bradshaw. Coach Bradshaw coached Troy from 1976-1982. He had some very good Division II teams. His son, Charles, was my best friend. Because of this, I got to be a water boy and watch many of those games from the sidelines as a 11 to 12-year-old boy. They might have been Division II athletes, but they could play! I can remember some hits that made me think, "Remind me to never play college football."

Cool. I'm considered the world record holder in fake-punts. Dual school record holder in the 110M HH, and JC National Qualifier at 19yo at Moorprak College, CA. Four of the fake punts made the newspaper and two made the LA Times. This is the 64 yard fake-punt pass from the Punter/QB for a Jamal Anderson TD at Moorpark vs Ventura that made the LA Times, and a video re-appeared of the play after 25 years found on Jamal's dad's camera. Showing the Punter, #13, me, making the block on the Punt Returner, allowing Jamal to score the TD. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/hu36L69Ey6I -- I played D2 at Cal Poly SLO, after being the P/QB for Jamal Anderson at Moorpark JC 1990-91, P/QB for Westlake HS before that. Later, played Semi-Pro for 4 years and tried out with all the NFL teams at camps, the CFL, XFL, UFL and Preditors with Jay Gruden four times and others up to 41yo. Here's one of the tryouts with the Calgary Stampeders. There, they witnessed 60MPH passes, with perfect accuracy, and 5.6+ hang time punts, 20/20 fair catches, all at 40+ yo. But, Jay Gruden basically said "They're are not looking for old people"... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNoUPXXsDm4

With all the changes in college sports, I worry about the little programs even surviving. They say NIL and transfers are "helping athletes" but I think the "Law of Opposite Effects" is kicking in again. These changes will end up taking away opportunities for far more student athletes that the few who are helped at the "Blue Blood" rich programs.

74-75.....Perry Griggs, Mark King I remember. Don’t remember who was coaching. I think 1974 we played there for Troy Homecoming. Good crowd. Great D2 atmosphere back then.

I remember both of them. Perry Griggs was an all-time great for Troy. He played right before Coach Bradshaw came.

Coach Bradshaw had previously been head coach at Kentucky. Before that he was an assistant at Alabama for Coach Bryant. He actually was my late father's offensive line coach at Bama 1958-1961. That's the family connection to the Bradshaws.

BTW, Mrs. Bradshaw was the best friend of Coach Bryant's wife, Mary Harmon .... who grew up in ... Troy, Alabama!

Wow Bill, I never knew your dad played for the Bear at Bama. I grew up in Waycross GA (not too far from Troy) where I began cheering for the Dawgs right around that time. Did he ever discuss the famous scandal where Georgia coach Wallace Butts was recorded revealing team secrets before their match? While it seems fairly benign in this era, back then it was a big story and the penalty was the cessation of the ancient rivalry where the two schools used to play their first game every year.

Speaking of the rivalry and its significance nowadays, what’s your take on how to determine a college football championship? I’ve been saying for years that they ought to have a playoff system similar to March Madness. Just use all these bowl games as the venues with perhaps 16 teams competing. Like most people I rarely watch most of them because they’re meaningless, especially when you have two games (FSU-UGA and OHIO St) where these teams are championship quality.

I had a roommate who had been a high school QB recruited by a Div. 1 school at that position. He was injured in summer drills, never played a game. We'd toss the ball around in the back yard, park. My hands lost skin and were bruised every time, he had a rocket arm. Instant understanding of the caliber of athlete who plays ball.
