And the same School Board/Superintendent still hasn't turned the water fountains back on at the schools. Because of this, my kids have to take their own water bottles to school every day. Apparently, we should all be afraid of water fountains. The water bottle companies - just like the mask companies - are making a mint.

No, I'm serious. It's quite the hassle, buying, washing and filling the water bottles ... and then loading them up into our kids backpacks. I need to get on the school board agenda again.

This time, my speech will be shorter:

"If the water fountains were safe for 60 years, they are safe now. Turn them back on. Thank you. I appreciate your time."

Some movie trivia ... The nurse who portrayed Nurse Ratched in "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" was from ... my state of Alabama! I think, as she should have, she won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar that year. She was probably too convincing in that role as it was hard to picture her after that playing a kind or sympathetic character. So nailing one role might have typecast her and hurt her future career.

This movie won Oscars for best picture, best actor, best actress, best director and best screenplay in 1975. Louise Fletcher, born in Birmingham to deaf parents, credits the culture she grew up in with informing her how to act as a passive aggressive paternalistic authority figure. Oh well. She had a long and successful career in film and television; not playing anymore outstanding roles, but knocking out dozens and dozens of character roles. Paid the bills, no doubt, plus some. Died at age 88 in France in 2022.

I wrote an article a while back on movies that are germane to our Covid times. I should have included "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest."

Fletcher did make a good living as an actor, although she never became a leading lady. Still, she had one iconic/unforgettable role. She'll always be remembered as long as people continue to watch that movie. I also read the book, which is excellent.

Bill...Thanks for this Substack. I greatly enjoyed it.

After wearing a mask everyday for 25 years in my former surgery days, I developed some ideas on this pandemic mask tyranny. But I want to reference something else in your writing....It is always good to see Winston Churchill referenced in the face of tyranny. He set the bar.

My favorite quote about Churchill came from a journalist who remarked on his speech in Parliament when he referenced fighting on the beaches, the landing grounds and everywhere else in creation, and then everyone in his own cabinet being willing to die for the cause choking on his own blood.

The journalist said, "He mobilized the English language and sent it into battle."

https://www.historynet.com/photos-of-winston-churchill-at-war/winston/

Indeed he did. It was the beginning of modern day infowars. We are engaged in such a war. Who will lend an ear?..."Quick's the word, and sharp's the action" to quote another.

I am having a farcical vision of the freaks in the current administration choking on their own blood in defense of our liberty and freedom.

What would Churchill have said about all of this Covid madness? If someone that intelligent and brave supported the lockdowns and insanity, I would completely give up hope.

Wasn't Churchill a key official in WWI? Did they shut down English society because of the Spanish Flu that was spreading through the world (and England) at that time?

Churchill held a rather impressive array of governmental, soldier, and administrative military positions in his career...too many to recount here. He was appointed as Minister of Munitions by Lloyd George from 1917 to 1919, during the time of the Spanish flu problem. I am not familiar with any role he may have played in that pandemic.

Exactly. I don't think it would have ever occurred to him to close down British society to fight that flu epidemic. By that time, health officials knew that viruses could be spread person to person.

Don't feel bad, I had to put on a mask to attend my daughter's musical performances, a couple of school plays, flights to FL and AZ, and quite a few other things like dentist and doctor visits. It pissed me off every time and professional people, especially doctors, really sold us out for what is a complete lie. I still get extremely pissed off about covid and the whole bs they put us through and when I see some fool still wearing a mask, like this very morning in the middle school parking lot, I can't help but say something like "Look! They're saving thousands of lives!" It was one of those idiotic duck-shaped N95 type masks, too. Only the best, I guess. Never mind that it was outdoors. Hell, never mind anything, it's totally stupid and useless and always will be. If people can't figure this crap out at this point, I don't even know what to tell them other than they are outrageous fools who deserve whatever crappy things they do to themselves. I hope they all suffer through long, terrible lives and their families abandon them.

I've been a decent person my whole life pretty much. The past couple of years of insanity broke me and I have mentally hoisted the black flag and gone over to the pirate's life--live free or die.

Thank you, Bill, for doing what many other people should have done - stand up and say "NO!" But it has to begin somewhere.

In January or February of 2020, while reading about this upcoming "pandemic," I saw a photo online of a young woman modeling a mask. My immediate thought: "How stupid is that? That won't stop any virus!" Little did I know what awaited us . . .

On the 16th of March, 2020, I went to the bank to withdraw a little cash. On the door they had a sign stating: "NO ONE ALLOWED IN THE BANK WITH A MASK ON" (after all, that's what bank robbers do). The next day I went back again, and on the door the sign said: "NO ONE ALLOWED IN THE BANK WITHOUT A MASK ON" - my goodness!

Sometime in 2020, I finally did an internet search of the phrase, "mask insanity," and found an article with that title by James Delingpole. He told of his experiences traveling on airplanes, having to wear a mask to board or leave, and having to wear it in the seat - unless one was eating or drinking! Apparently one cannot spread viruses during these activities.

Lastly, congratulations to your wife for her Teacher of the Year award!

I just read a story that the mayor of NYC (I think) is telling people not to wear masks inside stores or shops. They are being used to conceal the identify of thieves! Duh.

Great article as always. The three minute limit must be set in stone or BOE administrators would have limited your white noise to twelve seconds or less. Why twelve? Because it’s just as arbitrary as three minute limits set by our employees that care not what parents want in their children’s indoctrination.

Can't reason with ignorance, and trying is acceptance of someone else's influence.

Mockery, on the other hand is fun, and in a post-COVID fragile culture, it can showcase the emotional reactionaries for what they are.

The masks have piled up and are now being seen as another environmental issue to contend with. The cloth masks will degrade, but the plastic ones linger on to steam and stink in some landfill, or other.

At this point in the Covid saga I feel the best weapon to use against the pro vax terrorists is to accumulate records of as many thorough autopsies that determine the vaccine to the the cause of death as possible. It seems that long clots are unique to the vax for example. Coroners have also found other markers that require more extensive testing but show the vaccine's effect at the cellular level. I have seen a few autopsies reported on substack and elsewhere. I am hoping one of the substack writers will dive into this to see if they can accumulate a hundred or so autopsy reports and make them public so people can see the gory details of what the VAX does to the body. It worked for smoking.

Great project. Except it's almost impossible to get a thorough autopsy of a vaccine victim. How do we get more autopsies? Every organization is captured. That includes the coroners.

It is a difficult task. If it was easy I would do it myself and hand the results to substack writers like yourself. I have thought about it and my strategy would be to first determine if long clots are unique or significantly unique to the Vax. Then you don't need to get Coroner's reports you can use the libraries of other reports from morticians to confirm that long clots are coming from those who died suddenly and were vaxed. Public confirmation from a few corners that 'Yes they only saw long clots in the vaccinated' would help. Once families find out about the issue then some may approach you about having a friendly coroner look into their loved one's untimely death as happened not too long ago in Germany. You might try coroners and morticians in Florida as the state is not endorsing the vax. It is a nice state. I used to have a mobile there and enjoyed the time spent there.

I watched a Zoom interview with Dr. Harvey Risch last night. He talked a lot about how the medical coding has been manipulated to conceal those who might have later died or suffered adverse medical events caused by the shots. He said there is no "code" for "fully vaccinated." This means there's no data base to go back and do studies on the possible vaccine injured.

People can also pay for their own autopsies, but I think they cost at least $10,000 so no one does it. And then you'd have the issue of getting someone to do the autopsy who was actually looking for evidence of vaccine injuries. I think you can do autopsies where the medical examiners don't do all the appropriate tests and examinations.

That is, they don't find what they are not looking for.
