I'd also love to see someone organize a boycott or some kind of "pressure campaign" against all the corporations that advertise on Facebook. After all, this is de facto support of censorship, which should be repellant to Americans and American companies.

These same companies themselves boycott internet sites that do tell the truth or challenge the authorize narratives. Look at the advertisers at Zero Hedge or Citizens Free Press, which have huge audiences. Also, look at who does advertise on Tucker Carlson's show. About all I see is the My Pillow Man. What you don't see is Coca Cola, Chevrolet or any insurance or banking companies. Tucker has the No.1-rated prime-time news/commentary show in North America. His audience is mainstream, every-day Joes and Janes who buy products. But the corporations won't place any commercials. These are all tells about the groupthink of "club" members.

Yeah of course you will not see big multinational big corp advertising on truthful media. As many of us would have seen from the Documentary Monopoly- there are NO individual free corporations.

They are all owned by State Street, Secretive Vanguard and Black (star) Rock. And in turn they own shares in each other.

And they stand for the ruler of lies - Satan.

Nb Odd that speaking of the rulers and powers of this world are how so openly veering into the Bible. We openly call them what they are Satanic. Think — 3 years ago would you have even considered a war between Christ/G*d vs Lucifer/Satan?

I'd love to help, but I haven't been on Facebook in years. Not since I first saw them censoring people with whom they disagreed.

So people like me need someone else to let us know who adverstises there.

Michael Savage talked about that for years, the number of corps that snubbed him and the ones that stuck by him.

I'd also like to highlight the contrast between the approach of Twitter and Facebook to the approach/thinking of the founders of Substack. The latter did everything in their power to squash speech, debate and dissent. Substack did the exact opposite. I'd note that Substack's popularity is growing exponentially. This platform IS helping to change or challenge some false narratives. This is what our Founders had in mind when they created the First Amendment, which was supposed to provide the most important check on those with unlimited power.

Now what we need is for many more Americans to discover Substack.

Thanks for an excellent article. If scientific progress creates the best solutions, and if censorship hinders scientific progress, then the best solutions will not be found.

I have two questions here:

1. Is it possible that the leadership of those companies too, like a big part of the population, were hypnotised with fear of the virus and truly believed they were doing all they could to save lives?

2. What does this tell us about the dangers of monopoly? Networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn are a kind of natural monopolies; it would not work to have many Facebooks, many Twitters, the value of the network depends on it being a monopoly. Is it perhaps necessary to break up those companies and prevent such networks from being able to form?

Thanks for this provocative comment, Thorsteinn. I'll take a stab at your good questions:

Question 1: I guess it's possible, but I would say doubtful. My research tells me real scientists knew this mRNA technology had yet to be proven and was probably dangerous and definitely shouldn't have been rushed at "warp speed" with 250 million people serving as lab mice in this experiment or "safety trial." I also think they were thinking, "Show me the money!"

Question 2: I agree there that monopolies can literally be killers and produce the consequences we've now seen. I subscribe to the classical definition of fascism - government and big companies joining forces to control the world. That's what happened here. Facebook and Twitter did have effective monopolies on social media speech (the speech of billions of people). They made a conscious decision to silence the speech of millions of those people (I'm one of them).

Please come back often. I'd love it if I could develop a lively Comment Section of smart posters at my Substack site.

I can easily ascribe useful idiocy or rank evil to these billionaires but it’s as likely they were threatened w/ being busted up, or massive additional regulation &/or taxes if they didn’t go along. Probably all 3 - idiocy, evil & greed

I agree, Cindi and tried to present a few sentences that suggest the reasons Facebook, etc. might be afraid of getting on the wrong side of The Man. They use carrots and sticks to get these companies to play ball. This said, it seems clear to me that these billionaires and their companies are quite enthusiastic when it comes to performing their job. Have you seen some of the email exchanges between social media employees and their government partners? They love what they are doing.

The leadership are billionaires. That means they're not stupid people and have access to many very smart people. These people are not wired like the average person meaning their sense of risk is not like ours. Therefore I don't believe it was fear of a virus that explains their behavior. Nor fear of the government, IRS or security services. They are part of the "ruling class" doing their job in enabling a narrative.

I have a story about monopolies. Within the FTC is what is called the Bureau of Competition. I once spoke to the guy who was heading it about a matter. In response to asking whether some situation represented a monopoly he told me it was a difficult situation to define. And that's coming from the head guy. The laws are 100 years old. Good luck getting them enforced. If any are, just look to see who are the winners and who are the losers. Then figure out why. But good luck with that. In a truly free market there would never be a monopoly. Thomas Sowell wrote much on that idea.

Twitter still doesn't allow free speech. Despite appeals, I'm still in Twitter jail for asserting ivermectin is a human drug (such as for onchocerciasis). They claim that advocate suicide.

Hopefully others can wake up and see any out of the blue quick organized push across the global western news networks are LIES and PROPAGANDA. It's the trusted news initiative - we will repeat what the midwit government officials say - look it up.

Ukraine war full on propaganda from hour 1. Let's killl the young men of Ukraine so the USA can fight a proxy war and wash their money out of the tax base and into the hands of the global elite.

Killing Epstein in broad daylight in front of everyone.

The Big Lie - stealing an election in swing states in braod daylight in front of everyone

Carbon related Climate Change - there is far more fake models and less real science in climate change than Covid. Wake up they are already have plans to curb freedoms in Europe to prevent an energy crisis the green midwits created while trying to take power from the old school energy barons.

When the FTC, FCC, CDC, IRS, FBI, DHS, and every country in the world all have ongoing cases and investigation involving your company you get very cooperative.

The SM platforms are going to be considered victims.

Social media is the press on steroids regarding its reach but also its suppressive nature. How many letters to the editor never reach the print of page? How much news is never reported? How much news that should be front page is buried on page 14? How much important information is buried in those last 2 paragraphs that most people never read? Perhaps Bill can give us some insight into the mainstream media.

Algorithms, whether used by social media or internet search engines are just a refinement of what the mainstream press has done for several centuries. For example, if those not in favor of the passage of the constitution (so-called Anti-federalists) were allowed a fair chance by the press to have their arguments published and distributed, the constitution in its present form may not exist due to 9 states not approving thus requiring the calling of a second constitutional convention.

Ours is a vague supreme law of the land with reams of laws having no constitutional basis and people supposedly representing us acting without authority. I'm afraid that any trials that come from anything directly or indirectly related to the last 2 years will be at most a kangaroo court in nature but quite fitting for the banana republic we resemble.

And just to ride Bill's coattails and his excellent article, take a look at my post coming out Friday "Can Democracy Save The Republic" which deals with our mostly useless government figures.

Fyi - UK under fowl lockdown due to bird flu. And MSM claiming it’s spreading to penguins and mammalian seals.

They’ll be telling us it’s spreading to humans.

Warning

It’s the next big thing.

Shocked uk column went on spreading the fear. ‘I’ve seen dead swans’

Well I live between two bird sanctuaries and I’ve seen no more than normal death rates (birds of prey. Even eagle pair seen).

But I’ve also seen new dark, black sky graffiti lines. The graphene Rods can deliver viral payloads. And began just after Truss stepped down.

Would UK use bioweapons against people? See Ukraine!

That is how I believe the "pandemic" began. Aerial spraying to get some people sick, therefore acting like a toxin. It all rolled from there. Scare tactics, lock downs, redefining everything medically. I wrote an article on my experience with poisoning by aerial spraying when it came to West Nile Virus and subsequently my experience with "covid" https://www.intellectualtakeout.org/a-doctor-considers-the-covid-toxin-connection/
