Website proprietor Ron Unz has written tens of thousands of words, developing his theory that Covid was introduced in Wuhan by government operatives at the World Military Games. If I understand his theory correctly, he thinks the virus then spread to the rest of the world when these visitors returned to their home countries or military bases.
However, I don't think this is possible because I've identified too many very convincing 'early spread" cases from early November (if not earlier) in dozens of U.S. cities and states. I simply don't think even a contagious virus could spread that quickly to so many far-away cities simultaneously. IMO the virus was already infecting large numbers of people in all these places (at least 17 states, per my research.)
But if Unz is right, I still don't understand why China officials waited until mid-January 2020 to lockdown their country and Wuhan, ostensibly "to stop spread." If the virus was so contagious that it made hundreds of WMG visitors instantly sick in October 2019, it would have ripped through the entire city as all of these infected WMG visitors had numerous interactions with Wuhan citizens.
Why lockdown your country for a virus that had begun to spread or infect so many people three months earlier? This doesn't make sense to me.

11,336 deaths in Italy - almost all in northern Italy - also doesn't make sense to me. I don't think Wuhan reported its first "Covid death" until early January 2020.
Three studies that stand out to me are the three antibody studies of Naval vessels - two U.S. ships and one French aircraft carrier - these studies included antibody tests of crew members done in April and May 2020. Extrapolating the results to all crew members on all three ships, only one crew member died - but at least 4,500 had been previously infected, per antibody results.
This means the IFR for younger crew members (ages 18 to about 55) was one death in 4,500 "cases." The IFR for the flu is said to be one death in every 1,000 cases.
So these antibody results seem to suggest the lethality of this virus was significantly lower than the flu IFR.
The public has also never learned any key details on the death of the one sailor (age 41) on the USS Teddy Roosevelt. Maybe he really did die from Covid, but maybe he really didn't? Who knows?
Also, nobody on the Diamond Princess cruise ship who was under the age of 70 died from Covid.

However, I don't think this scenario seems that plausible as China has its own intelligence agencies and must have known about the hundreds of athletes who did, in fact, get sick with Covid symptoms at the World Military Games in October. FWIW, i wondered about this too as I live in Japan and most people I know ow eat the stuff regularly for breakfast, yet despite all masking, clot shot taking, unsocial distancing, unsocial distancing and Nattto, high incidence of Covid and clotting. A friend is in the hospital now with clotting. Survived a heart attack a couple of years ago, during covid, and now (more?) clotting.
A doctor who subscribes to my substack reported that they have been told that bacteria that makes natto is not effective in the food but in a pill form. We did not go into why, maybe concentration and it is purified.
The Red Cross Antibody Study revealed that 2.4 percent of California residents who donated blood between Dec. 13-16, 2019 already had Covid antibodies when they donated this blood. Since it takes a week or so to even develop detectable levels of antibodies, these findings really mean most of the 100-plus positive blood donors already had antibodies in November 2019 if not earlier.
Some of these antibody-positive blood donors probably already had Covid antibodies before the completion of the World Military Games (in late October). So those people weren't infected by any soldiers returning from those Military Games.
I also doubt any of the positive donors had recently been to Wuhan, China. I also like to point out that the CDC never interviewed any of the positive donors and asked any of these people if they might have had Covid-like symptoms in the weeks or moths before they donated blood.
That, to me, is another "tell" - a Big One.

The CDC also only did one study of "archived" Red Cross blood. Once this study found so many positives, why not test some more tranches of stored blood for antibodies? Test blood from other regions of the country (like the South, where ILI was rampant in November 2019) and test blood from other time periods.
As I've pointed out, the CDC could have tested its own (Atlanta) employees for antibodies in February 2020. Flu-like symptoms/ILI cases were extremely elevated in the state of Georgia by November 2019 and were off the charts in December 2019.
If they had done this, the antibody results would have provided even more undeniable evidence of early spread IMO.
I always look at the things officials should have done, but didn't.

Say there were 2,000 deaths in all of China by Feb. 11, 2020. That would be about 50 days from the official birthday of Covid spread, according to the experts - who date it to about Dec. 19, 2019.

If one considers a single point of origin for a viral disease, how long before hospital parking lots show evidence of increased visitations? I'm guessing a Lab-leak Source would predate hospital visits by many months.
As well, early on in the spread of this 'new' disease, all the known beneficial respiratory therapeutics would have been in common use, and we now know many of those protocols were life-savingly beneficial. As I've pointed out, the CDC could have tested its own (Atlanta) employees for antibodies in February 2020. Flu-like symptoms/ILI cases were extremely elevated in the state of Georgia by November 2019 and were off the charts in December 2019.
If they had done this, the antibody results would have provided even more undeniable evidence of early spread IMO.

You make some great points, but there are a couple of others that I consider pertinent.
If one considers a single point of origin for a viral disease, how long before hospital parking lots show evidence of increased visitations? I'm guessing a Lab-leak Source would predate hospital visits by many months.
As well, early on in the spread of this 'new' disease, all the known beneficial respiratory therapeutics would have been in common use, and we now know many of those protocols were life-savingly beneficial. It was not until the dreaded COVID label. Infecting multiple brains, the treatment protocol became, all is futile except intubation.
That was also the time when COVID mortality eliminated the flu as a cause of death.

Bill, I definitely remember seeing satellite photos of crematory smokestacks going like crazy in China, maybe Wuhan. Also satellite images of hastily constructed “hospitals” in that area, early on. I remember Chinese relatives being distressed because so many were being cremated that they weren’t sure they had the correct family remains. Do you know anything about this?
