Here's a photo of Annie, our Corgi-terrier mix, hard at work, editing one of our Substack newsletters.

Literally hours ago, I made an appointment to have my dogs' rabies titers pulled. I am in LA. I will not comply with rabies vax requirement, if their levels are sufficient. And may not comply if they aren't.

That’s the best story, event all day! I have loved all of ours. I’m so thankful for my four-legged buddy, especially since covid vax took my two legged human. 💔😔.

Dog trainer friends of mine say that during the covid lockdowns, people emptied out the animal shelters but that after covid was over, many dogs and cats were surrendered. A cruelty in my opinion.

I almost didn't read this. So glad I did. Your story telling about good things is uplifting and quite entertaining.

Shortly after my dad passed, my mom handed me a shoe box with every letter I've ever written to my dad. She told me, "You are a very gifted writer. Don't ever stop writing."

She would be upset with me if I didn't share that charge with you. Do not ever stop writing.

And write letters to your kids! In 20+ years, only the FBI will be able to find texts and emails and social media you posts sent them. But they will never lose those letters. Ever.

“At least from my observation, many citizens don’t seem to care much about whether Covid vaccines might be causing deaths or life-altering ailments in their human neighbors or loved ones.

However, it’s possible some of these citizens might become fighting mad if the thought occurs to them that the policies of our experts have caused harm and suffering to God’s four-legged creatures … which, clearly and sadly, they have”

I SO AGREE BILL!

Thank you for sharing this lovely story. No more shots for our cats either. When you know better, you do better.

Do you happen to know anyone with the last name Murphree there in Troy, AL?

Yep I suspect the pet shots are a scam. I distrust all medicine. But in order to take them to get trained against rattlesnakes (here in the SW) they must be “up to date” on their shots.

when I got my Tippi I was amazed that the vet gave her several jabs for the fleas she had when I got her. Only after 3 months and a few more jabs, I learned from the old vet, that 1. these were not flea meds but injections for all kinds of illnesses 2. that the young vet should not have given her any since they don't develop immune system of their own until 6 months and 3. that she would not have give any yet.

So I watched out to get with the older vet who unfortunately, retired shortly after. She did not give any chemical meds but rather homeopathic and natural stuff.

Another vet, another vet, another vet.... finally we found one almost an hour's drive away, who is not into jabs at all. Tippi had one more rabies jab. Not anymore! We had one rabid dog in the town, in all the 20 years I am here - and was it rabies? who can tell! We live very rural, but hardly get to see more than a few deer and now and then, boars or a single fox far off!

Thank you for these wonderful dog stories. Hopefully Rufus has just a good home like Annie and Tippi have!

Bill, you are spot on about your skepticism of pet vaccines. Check out Will Falconer, DMV, on vitalanimal.Substack.com or his website at vitalanimal.com/about-dr-falconer/ He writes a weekly newsletter, has tons of free podcasts, articles and online courses and resources. I think he’s on YouTube as well. He doesn’t pull any punches about the pet vaccine scam!

I read an article from a holistic pet vet that said they don't need any vaccines and just like with people, every vaccine weakens their immune system.

2 minutes Great Vet

Bill, that is one of the cutest puppies I've EVER seen. Thank you for this story.

I would not get my dog "vaccinated for anything except rabies if you Tavel across the border. My trainer has 3 dogs, none of them have ever had any "vaccines' they are healthy. My cat who's now 5 1/2 has had zero "vaccines" and I'm keeping it that way. Vets will try and give your pets the mRNA shots in whatever shots they give. I can't imagine any animal being subjected to that crap, let alone a human.

One day I was on the phone and turned to see our cat Harley sitting and staring eyeball to eyeball with a wild racoon also sitting. They couldn't have been more than 12 inches apart. I shooed the racoon away. Many years later she got bit by something and died about 6 months later at the ripe old age of 17. She was an indoor and outdoor cat and had a good life. Our current cat is strictly an indoor cat, just so long as he learns that he is not second in the pecking order. He knows I am boss but he picks on my wife. He might be a goner to join the outdoor mousers if he keeps nipping at her. Oh and after we figured out the vaccine scam there have been no more shots for Tribble or us.

Love the story!

But flu vaccines for dogs? I thought those were reserved strictly for livestock.

Thanks for cheering me up and that adorable photo of a sweet puppy who found the right porch. Thanking you and your family plus Annie for stepping up. I have a cat whisperer sister who seems to be on some stray kitty grapevine. She takes them in. Feeds them and gets them back to a glossy coat condition used to people. Sees the vet for neutering. She always can find a good home.
