If contrails/chemtrails have always existed, why are (millions of) people only recently starting to notice them and talk about them? That is, 25 years ago everyone saw the same long trails and criss-crossing patterns and nobody said anything about this? Suddenly, a new generation sees them and thinks this is odd and starts talking about them and taking photos and videos?
I also keep looking for archived photos and videos that show similar trails in the sky from 20 to 50 years ago. I'm looking at old photos in family scrapook albums and watching old movies and TV shows that show expansive shots of the skies and I'm looking for similar evidence of similar trails ... and, so far, I haven't discovered any such evidence.
It seems like all the scientific and corporate journalism organizations who are intent on debunking this conspiracy theory would produce such photos ... but they haven't ... making me think such photos/film footage doesn't exist.
I’ve heard, but not verified, that Disney has been going back and painting these trails into the skies of their older movies, to give us the impression that they’ve always been there.
Wouldn’t be a terrible surprise, but that would entail the risk of someone producing undoctored film footage. That might be a scandal and a “tell” … so I hope they do it!
In the uk i have always lived in an area covered by the flight paths of several airports. As children playing in the streets or on the park (as children used to do) we would regularly notice condensation trails. Those white lines that soon evapourated seconds after being caused by the airplane heat. Never did we see these massive trails across the sky persisting and unfolding in fact joining to form a white haze covering massive areas. Some seem able to deny what is before their eyes or are they afraid to confront the truth. Trust me I would much prefer not to see these trails but putting my head in the sand wont help.

Contrails are not new. What is new is how much air traffic there is, how modern planes fly higher and leave longer lasting trails, and the fact that we now all carry a camera and instantly share what we see online. That alone can make something ordinary suddenly feel unusual.
Older photos and movies rarely focused on empty skies, and film quality often washed out thin trails anyway. So not finding many old pictures does not really prove they were not there. It mostly shows what people chose to photograph and what cameras could capture back then.
Not all old photos would be washed out. If somebody just produced one good photo from, say, 2000 showing 12 long, criss-crossing trails just like millions of people report seeing today … this would qualify as good counter-evidence to support the view these have always existed. It would still strike me as odd that nobody thought those sky images were odd in 2000 .. but they do today.

Sure, not every vintage picture would be washed out. But back in 2000, hardly anyone deliberately pointed their camera straight up at an almost empty sky and waited for multiple airplanes to create patterns. Today, everything’s changed. People actively seek out these trails, film them in real time, zoom in, and compare notes online. They’re tuned in to notice crisscrossing patterns. That shift in focus alone makes a big difference.
What strikes me as more unusual isn't that we can't easily find a dramatic 2000 shot of twelve intersecting trails. If someone in 2000 noticed an unusual sky, they probably just mentioned it to a friend and moved on. There was no platform to upload, compare, or connect it to bigger patterns and that’s changed today.
Hindsight also plays tricks. Once you’ve seen a pattern and are told it’s suspicious, your mind becomes keen to spot it everywhere.
I think the world is full of numerous “sky gazers” and always has been. (I’m one myself - other posters say they have always taken an interest in cloud shapes or the number of jets flying overhead.) imo these sky gazers would have noticed pattens like those that are now all over the internet. And there was an internet 20 and 25 years ago. Not as many people on it but still tens of millions were.
How does one watch these chemtrails on a beautiful blue sky morning within two hours the skies are dingy white gray? These are not contrails that dissipate as water vapor. How does one deny the amount of aluminum in the soil?

What we see with our eyes can not be denied. I am a sky watcher. There is a difference of chemtrails vs contrails. One cannot deny the amount of aluminum in the soil because it is the third most abundant element in the earth's crust at 8% by weight, after oxygen at at 46% and silicon at 28%. It is more abundant than elemental iron or any other metallic element. Detecting Al in the soil is meaningless as proof of artificial contamination. Since the air carries dust in proprtion to how dry and how loose the surafce is, wind will spread it in the air proportionally. If you want to look for bad stuff in and on the earth look for manmade shit like plastic and pharmaceuticals. Al is not it.

Update: I drove around Troy Sunday, Monday and again this morning when I took my daughter to school. I was scanning the entire sky. In the past three days, I have not seen one jet or airplane in the skies above Troy. This contrasts to many recent days when I have seen four or five high-altitude jets that, to me, were making long chemtrails.
My question: Why did the jet traffic completely disappear? It seems to me the "highways" used by commercial jets and UPS jets should be pretty consistent and planes and contrails be viewable at roughly the same times and same places in the sky.
I saw no chemtrails/contrails on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday ... and on Sunday I didn't see one cloud.
The sky was blue, but (to me) it was kind of a "hazy" blue, which is common now, but perhaps wasn't as common years ago?
I, and many others, noticed when the government was shut down, in specific areas, there were no “contrails,” “chemtrails” - whatever you wanna call them.
However planes still few but no trails.

I find it incredibly unbelievable that we are still 'debating' this. There are chemtrails and everyone across the globe sees them and takes photos of them. Many post them on social medias everywhere. The government admits the skies are being sprayed for various (and unrealistic) reasons. So...that begs the question, why would anyone deny that this is happening. And the only answer, in my mind, is that those who can't accept this truth are in a foggy state of consciousness.
Contrails are not selectively turned off and on. I live on an Island and on still days during spring, summer and fall, stacked chemtrails appear over the island. They begin above the eastern edge and stop at the western edge. This is very deliberate. The lines are evenly spaced and linger for over an hour as they slowly widen, mix with the next line and dissappear as they "dilute" into the air.
Odd observation… we got at least an inch of snow by 9 a.m …the temps never got over 30 … and the snow rapidly melted! We don’t get much snow but I have seen snow days maybe 10 times. I’ve never seen snow melt when the ground was frozen solid. Nor was the sun out. Question for readers: could this be different “chemtrail” snow? I thought this was … different.

Thanks for this link. I watched her talk. I wish she provided more specifics but she sounds credible to me. She said she learned millions of pounds of chemicals were being purchased by the Air Force. The companies weren’t identified in the paperwork. She says pilots and people who load the canisters have confirmed to her what is happening. She identifies one man who is the architect of this program. She was attacked, smeared and basically run-out of the Air Force for asking too many questions. She says water and soil samples prove toxic particles in large quantities are falling back to the earth. She says this “100 percent” is happening. I don’t know why she would make all of this up. Her name is Kristin Meghan.

I live in a small place in Ireland and we don't have any commercial planes flying over whatsoever here and up until a few years ago there would only be a couple of small private planes a week flying over and these private planes never have any trails behind them. But now there are 3 planes that are bigger than the private planes (the 3 planes are the same type of plane) and fly higher than the private planes flying around and around every day all day and starting a few weeks ago the are also flying at night.
I have seen them sometimes fly over my head with no trail at all behind them and suddenly 30 seconds later the trail starts. I have also seen them with trails that disappear kinda quickly and other times they don't go at all and very slowly join up with other trails forming "clouds" that barely move with the real clouds moving at normal speed past them.
Also I heard on the news on the radio that they are spraying the atmosphere to block out the sun in many Countries and that some people are having concerns about the outcome of this. You know if they are spraying to block out the sun to control the temperature why the fuck are they doing it in winter when it's already cold so are making it freezing at times and in my opinion they need to give us free heating. The other thing is without the sun nothing will survive except the "cockroaches".
Another thing is it's making it much darker also sometimes you'd nearly need to turn the lights on at lunch time. Like WTF, so they should also give us money off our electricity bills too.
All the little ways they are bleeding us dry financially, food prices are still going up even though inflation is still low and they never reduced the prices of gas and electricity after they more than doubled when inflation reached 9%
Thanks for sharing this first-hand personal observation. Planes not producing any trails and then, suddenly, producing long trails that do not quickly evaporate is a key witness observation imo.
Bill, the only way out of this dilemna is to make a call for whistleblowers to come forward from both military and civil pilots and to find a source who will fund this research. I am not convinced civilian pilots are on the take on this--they have a high degree of integrity. the only proof of nefariousness is going to be obtaining air samples by sniffer planes, by obtaining hard ground contamination evidence (years of side by side comparisons) and by possibly by solar spectroscopy (if there any chemicals in the airborne trails, they might leave a footprint in a spectrograph as the sun shines through it).
We do need pilot whistle blowers and Testimony from ground crew workers who load the canisters. There is a link in this thread of a former Air Force member who says pilots have told her this is happening … but they won’t go public. This is not surprising given millions of people who could be covid and vaccine whistleblowers have all decided to not go down the Snowden road less travelled.
Well, I've used zoom lenses to capture planes flying horizon to horizon with four (4) streams flowing out that never disappeared. Same time, can see streams out of other jets that vanish quickly.
And regarding it always having been around, calling b.s. on that. I'm a pattern recognition obsessive, and I use that skill professionally. There was none of that in the 70s and 80s.
And BTW, I live 10 miles from Hobby airport in Houston. And Ellington Air Force Base was 7 miles away. That crap did not occur back then.

As a pilot and an engineer, and a critical thinker, I'm on the fence. But let's not get corralled into just thinking weather control.. who knows what may be contained in the 'contrails' and what it is causing? Around six months ago the silver price started to show signs of heading North and I searched for a reason as the only cause was a greater demand for the industrial metal. Silver is used to make one of the commonest chemicals used in cloud seeding, silver iodide. Probably no connection as long as you believe in coincidences..

I have a picture of a cloud shaped in a perfect smoke ring. Took It 50 miles south of Pelham Al. What does it mean?

Why insist it’s not happening ?
Condensation trails existed since airplanes started flying high into the right atmospheric conditions.
Pictures of WWII bombing raids over Germany show hundreds of condensation trails.
I used to see them all the time in the skies over SD in the '60s.
But they disappear fast and for 65 some years I have seen contrails too… but if IF you watch the there is a significant difference.

Condensation trail behavior depends upon the atmosphere which changes.
Hundreds of airplanes are flying everyday along major air corridors. Sometimes the atmosphere allows for condensation trails, sometimes not.

Update: I drove around Troy Sunday, Monday and again this morning when I took my daughter to school. I was scanning the entire sky. In the past three days, I have not seen one jet or airplane in the skies above Troy. This contrasts to many recent days when I have seen four or five high-altitude jets that, to me, were making long chemtrails.
My question: Why did the jet traffic completely disappear? It seems to me the "highways" used by commercial jets and UPS jets should be pretty consistent and planes and contrails be viewable at roughly the same times and same places in the sky.
I saw no chemtrails/contrails on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday ... and on Sunday I didn't see one cloud.
The sky was blue, but (to me) it was kind of a "hazy" blue, which is common now, but perhaps wasn't as common years ago?
I, and many others, noticed when the government was shut down, in specific areas, there were no “contrails,” “chemtrails” - whatever you wanna call them.
However planes still few but no trails.

The second one is interesting because it shows that in both years where the government was shut down, those two years had little to know hurricanes make landfall.
This year and a decade ago - also when a shutdown occurred in the hurricane season.
Sure they could be contrails, but come on, when we really look into this, there’s a whole other perspective
Interesting articles and theory - the weather modification projects might be making hurricanes more likely to make landfall. Perhaps to spread climate change hysteria? Also, regardless of cause, fewer hurricanes are making landfall in America and few major hurricanes. The climate change cultists said we would experience many more hurricanes and stronger hurricanes. The opposite has happened. The same with tornadoes. We were supposed to have many more. We haven’t. We’ve had fewer.
I find it incredibly unbelievable that we are still 'debating' this. There are chemtrails and everyone across the globe sees them and takes photos of them. Many post them on social medias everywhere. The government admits the skies are being sprayed for various (and unrealistic) reasons. So...that begs the question, why would anyone deny that this is happening. And the only answer, in my mind, is that those who can't accept this truth are in a foggy state of consciousness.
Contrails are not selectively turned off and on. I live on an Island and on still days during spring, summer and fall, stacked chemtrails appear over the island. They begin above the eastern edge and stop at the western edge. This is very deliberate. The lines are evenly spaced and linger for over an hour as they slowly widen, mix with the next line and dissappear as they "dilute" into the air.
They are definitely spraying the skies.
And now it is snowing in Troy … again. Third snow we have had in 12 months. That is not “normal” in south Alabama.
Odd observation… we got at least an inch of snow by 9 a.m …the temps never got over 30 … and the snow rapidly melted! We don’t get much snow but I have seen snow days maybe 10 times. I’ve never seen snow melt when the ground was frozen solid. Nor was the sun out. Question for readers: could this be different “chemtrail” snow? I thought this was … different.

Thanks for this link. I watched her talk. I wish she provided more specifics but she sounds credible to me. She said she learned millions of pounds of chemicals were being purchased by the Air Force. The companies weren’t identified in the paperwork. She says pilots and people who load the canisters have confirmed to her what is happening. She identifies one man who is the architect of this program. She was attacked, smeared and basically run-out of the Air Force for asking too many questions. She says water and soil samples prove toxic particles in large quantities are falling back to the earth. She says this “100 percent” is happening. I don’t know why she would make all of this up. Her name is Kristin Meghan.
More give-and-take between me and Dent - regarding the reason this might be happening (or not happening):

My response: “Global Warming is CAUSING the big spike in chemtrails/contrails?”
Dent’s response: “Partly and vice versa. The heat from the engines is contributing to air that leads to the formation of more clouds and the condensation goes into those clouds.”
Dent added: “preview in response to you asking about why we have more rain or more intense rain than we used to.”
Dent’s post was in response to a comment I made where I questioned why the government would WANT to be creating more rain in Troy, Alabama - which just experienced one of the rainiest years of my life. (in a 40-day period last summer, I think we got some rain - often heavy thunderstorms - on 37 days.)

I live in a small place in Ireland and we don't have any commercial planes flying over whatsoever here and up until a few years ago there would only be a couple of small private planes a week flying over and these private planes never have any trails behind them. But now there are 3 planes that are bigger than the private planes (the 3 planes are the same type of plane) and fly higher than the private planes flying around and around every day all day and starting a few weeks ago the are also flying at night.
I have seen them sometimes fly over my head with no trail at all behind them and suddenly 30 seconds later the trail starts. I have also seen them with trails that disappear kinda quickly and other times they don't go at all and very slowly join up with other trails forming "clouds" that barely move with the real clouds moving at normal speed past them.
Also I heard on the news on the radio that they are spraying the atmosphere to block out the sun in many Countries and that some people are having concerns about the outcome of this. You know if they are spraying to block out the sun to control the temperature why the fuck are they doing it in winter when it's already cold so are making it freezing at times and in my opinion they need to give us free heating. The other thing is without the sun nothing will survive except the "cockroaches".
Another thing is it's making it much darker also sometimes you'd nearly need to turn the lights on at lunch time. Like WTF, so they should also give us money off our electricity bills too.
All the little ways they are bleeding us dry financially, food prices are still going up even though inflation is still low and they never reduced the prices of gas and electricity after they more than doubled when inflation reached 9%
Thanks for sharing this first-hand personal observation. Planes not producing any trails and then, suddenly, producing long trails that do not quickly evaporate is a key witness observation imo.
Bill, the only way out of this dilemna is to make a call for whistleblowers to come forward from both military and civil pilots and to find a source who will fund this research. I am not convinced civilian pilots are on the take on this--they have a high degree of integrity. the only proof of nefariousness is going to be obtaining air samples by sniffer planes, by obtaining hard ground contamination evidence (years of side by side comparisons) and by possibly by solar spectroscopy (if there any chemicals in the airborne trails, they might leave a footprint in a spectrograph as the sun shines through it).
We do need pilot whistle blowers and Testimony from ground crew workers who load the canisters. There is a link in this thread of a former Air Force member who says pilots have told her this is happening … but they won’t go public. This is not surprising given millions of people who could be covid and vaccine whistleblowers have all decided to not go down the Snowden road less travelled.
Well, I've used zoom lenses to capture planes flying horizon to horizon with four (4) streams flowing out that never disappeared. Same time, can see streams out of other jets that vanish quickly.
And regarding it always having been around, calling b.s. on that. I'm a pattern recognition obsessive, and I use that skill professionally. There was none of that in the 70s and 80s.
And BTW, I live 10 miles from Hobby airport in Houston. And Ellington Air Force Base was 7 miles away. That crap did not occur back then.
That telephoto lens comes in handy. I wish I had one. Please keep using it. I wonder what would happen if one private jet followed one of these military jets with the co-pilot filming the trails? I bet they would turn off the chemtrail button.
As a pilot and an engineer, and a critical thinker, I'm on the fence. But let's not get corralled into just thinking weather control.. who knows what may be contained in the 'contrails' and what it is causing? Around six months ago the silver price started to show signs of heading North and I searched for a reason as the only cause was a greater demand for the industrial metal. Silver is used to make one of the commonest chemicals used in cloud seeding, silver iodide. Probably no connection as long as you believe in coincidences..

It wouldn't surprise me at all if these trails (and 5g) are making us slightly unwell now, but with the potential for later use as a weapon of mass destruction.
