This person has taken 5 covid jabs that I know of, possibly more. I perceive that it is extremely important to this person to be seen as a highly competent, caring, and responsible professional. I don't know what other peoples' path in life is going to be, but I do get the sense with this person that I am watching someone determined to remain prostrate on the railroad tracks, no matter what.
Normally I just try not to touch upon any controversial discussions. Keeping it light and superficial works fine for me. It’s only when he gets on a rant about all “those stupid people” who are ignoring the “science” he believes in that I get riled. So I’m learning to keep my mouth shut not allowing him the opportunity to intellectually bully me.
What I find creepy but also a bit hilarious is how so many people start ranting about "those people" who believe the vaxxes aren't safe & effective, and they so blithely assume that I, and the rest of the so-called civilized world, would wholly agree with them. So to me they're double dupes, first for believing the vaxxes were anything you'd want to rush out and inject yourself with, and second, for believing that no one they would know would beg to differ. I don't get into with them, either, they're a lost cause, I just change the subject.
And these people are supposedly highly intelligent....IDK
Like all people, including myself, no doubt, this one is a mix of smart and stupid, good and bad, quick and slow, etc & etc. Me, I just try to remain hard to kill, which I cannot say that I have observed is true for all other people. The one I mentioned got grievously ill after each shot, but seems to have recovered to some degree.
The lesson I'm taking from all that I have witnessed is that for most people doing whatever they need to do to cling to or better their social status trumps pretty much everything else.
Now social status does in fact have a lot to do with survival. On the other hand, if you're dead, your social status doesn't do whoop. Last I checked you can't take your wine collection with you, either.

I’d like to see how he’d react if a report ever got published showing some of the evidence we are familiar with. He would probably search far and wide for fact checking that “debunks” it as misinformation. From my research "snake oil" was brought by the Chinese working on the railroads and was a legitimate aid for certain ailments. When unscrupulous people got wind of this they sold fake "snake oil" thus the term got a bad name.

That's unless they put a protein that resembles the snake venom in your vaccines, is stored the same way and has the same side effects. If I recall correctly, not all of that money comes from taxpayers. Some comes from "gifts" made by pharma to NIH. Is this bribery? I understood that was how Fauci became so rich.
