In April 2020, the thought hit me that the novel coronavirus was probably spreading widely in America months before public health officials claimed.
At some point in April 2020, I began seriously investigating this possibility, and in May began working on my feature article on the almost-certain “early cases” of Tim and Brandie McCain.
After I finally found one publication (uncoverDC.com) that would publish what I thought was a very important story, I wrote a follow-up story that was published in June 2020.
This story listed many reasons I’d come to conclude officials (and the mainstream press) were probably covering up evidence of “early spread.”
Back then I was one of the few lonely voices screaming that “early spread” was an almost certainty.
Skip forward three years and I’m happy to report that many more people now seem to have reached the same conclusions I’d reached three years ago. This group now includes U.S. Senator Roger Marshall.
A panel organized by Sen. Marshall (who is also a doctor) has produced a report that says virus spread in China very possibly began from a “lab leak in the September-October [2019] timeframe, even as early as July or August.”
The New York Post just published a big article presenting some of the evidence that causes this panel to seriously consider this possibility. Key excerpts from this article are published below.
Regarding the possibility of “early spread,” I see only two possibilities, both deeply disturbing:
Public health officials, scientists, experts, etc. had no clue this virus might have been spreading around the world in the fall or winter of 2019.
If this is the case, officials cannot be charged with any nefarious or criminal “cover-up.” However, they could and should be charged with incompetence or professional malfeasance for never considering this as a possibility and for refusing to investigate this possibility.
2) At least some of these officials knew this was happening (or likely happening) and they employed elaborate measures to cover-up this fact from the public.
If scenario 2 applies, the cover-up of arguably the most significant event of our lifetimes must, by now, be massive.
By way of comparison, Watergate - where no one died and trillions of dollars were not flushed down the toilet - would seem like a scandal to fix parking tickets.
While it hasn’t made any kind of splash, I think my article that speculated on the dozens of ways “early spread” may have been concealed from the public might be the most-important piece I’ve published yet.
I was saying this three years ago ….
To tell the truth, I’d pretty much already reached this conclusion by May 2020. Here’s a few excerpts from my June UncoverDC. com article:
“…. Are at least some officials who receive tax-payer-funded salaries trying to prevent those of us who pay their salaries from knowing that COVID-19 existed in America in December, or probably earlier than this? As of today’s date, I can’t prove this, but I certainly will not be surprised if this is proven to be the case in the future.
“… I am comfortable stating this theory: At least some public health officials and infectious disease experts have no interest in performing serious inquiries into likely early cases – probably because they know such investigations, if legitimate, would almost certainly prove that this virus was indeed spreading in many people much earlier than they’ve publicly acknowledged.”
I concluded my article with this sentence:
“When a genuine search for the truth is increasingly viewed as taboo or off-limits, the prognosis for a nation we all want to see survive and prosper is probably bleak.”
That was then, this New York Post article is from today …
Here are a few excerpts from The New York Post’s recent article written by journalist Steve Nelson. This article focusses on the possibility this virus escaped from a Wuhan lab much earlier than we have been led to believe.
Sen. Marshall and his panel apparently do not consider the possibility the virus may have escaped from another lab, which I think should at least be considered in any legitimate and comprehensive investigation.
However, virus spread beginning in the summer or early fall of 2019 in China would/might explain how so many Americans had become sick with Covid/ILI symptoms by November 2019 (or even October or September).
I leave it to the judgement of readers why so many influential American scientists and public health officials were so determined to reject the lab-leak theory and then assured everyone that this virus had not reached America until “latter January” 2020.
I added a few of my own comments …
“WASHINGTON — The COVID-19 pandemic may have started with two separate leaks at Chinese labs doing risky “gain of function” research, a Republican senator said Monday.
“A report released by Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) raises the prospect that millions of lives could have been saved … if not for a “coverup” by the Chinese government during a theorized initial outbreak.
“This report concludes most likely this was two leaks [including] a lab leak in the September-October [2019] timeframe, even as early as July or August …”
“…. Dr. Robert Kadlec, a cofounder of the Operation Warp Speed program … drafted the report titled “Muddy Waters: The Origins of COVID-19” with about a dozen Republican aides on the Senate Health Committee and additional outside consultants.
I’d never read this:
“A pre-November series of additional events adds weight to the theory … including the deaths of 11 Iranian athletes … Some of the athletes reportedly attended the Olympics-style World Military Games held Wuhan, China, in October 2019.”
“ … A recently published study analyzed data from existing WHO global influenza surveillance networks early in the COVID-19 pandemic. Their analysis could identify outliers in influenza-negative influenza-like illness (ILI) that served as potential early indicator of COVID-19 community transmission.”
“The report noted “[a] noticeable increase of Wuhan adult ILI cases during week 46 (November 11-17, 2019) corresponded to negative influenza testing that same week.
My comment: In my opinion, ILI data is a compelling “potential early indicator of community transmission.”
My next article will document the obvious “widespread” spike in non-flu ILI in America in the months before the novel coronavirus was supposed to be in America or other countries.
“… Marshall said that he believes Democratic colleagues are warming to an investigation of the pandemic’s origins and “I’ll be curious as to how the White House responds.”
“The White House did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.”
My comment: Standard Operating Procedure.
“…. We’ve concluded that [China] started vaccine development in November 2019. And then another lab leak seems to be most sensible explanation,” (Sen. Marshall) said. “There are key data points that are being held back that could help us prove that.”
“… US spy agencies assessed in August 2021 that it was “plausible” that the virus came either from a lab release in Wuhan or from a natural origin via animal-to-human transmission.
My comment: For reminder purposes, the “lab leak” theory was once strictly off limits, per Fauci and a team he helped organize to spike any effort to investigate this possibility.
“… At the time, a written statement attributed to Biden said: “The world deserves answers, and I will not rest until we get them.”
“But Biden … has hardly mentioned the origins question since then — even walking away from reporters on the White House lawn March 3 when asked about holding China accountable for the outbreak.”
My comment: O.J. Simpson also said he wouldn’t rest until he found the identify of his wife’s real killer.
Several people have asked me why I think this topic is so important.
At this point, does it really matter where the virus might have originated or who created this virus (if it was in fact created in a lab)? Why is the question of WHEN the virus began to “spread” even important?
To me, it’s self-evident these are critical questions that must be answered … that is, if anyone still cares about the truth for the truth’s sake. Or if anyone cares about holding the people responsible for this catastrophe responsible.
Personally, I think we’d never have had the lockdowns and mass panic/hysteria if the world actually knew this virus had already been circulating for months.
But the main reason this topic is so important to me is because I’ve become convinced our “trusted” public health officials, scientists and government officials … should not be trusted at all.
By now it should be clear to everyone that these officials have not earned our trust and/or they have violated our trust.
It is also clear that these “leaders” have experienced no consequences for being spectacularly wrong about every important Covid topic.
More than anything, what motivates my writing is the thought that I don’t want people who are either obtuse or somewhere on the psychopath spectrum (people who don’t care that their policies have harmed billions of people) … to remain in charge of my children’s future.
These alleged experts and authorities have been wrong not just about “early spread,” but wrong with their mantra that the vaccines are “safe and effective” … that masks prevented cases … that lockdowns saved lives … that ivermectin and HCQ were bogus treatment options … that ventilators saved many lives (when they killed many people) … that every person, regardless of their age, faced a great mortality risk from this new virus …. and that the Internet must be heavily censored to protect people from “dangerous misinformation spreaders” and “extremists” like myself.
In previous articles, I’ve acknowledged that my science education ended with an 11th grade chemistry class. I didn’t attend an Ivy League college and I’ve never written articles for a big prestigious newspaper.
So people have told me, “You’re no expert. Why should I listen to you?”
As immodest as it seems, here’s one answer: Because I was right.
When 99 percent of the “experts” the world entrusts with our lives are spectacularly and provably wrong, the world has a problem … a problem we need to fix.
BTW, I found that NY Post article I referenced from Citizen Free Press. I want to keep giving plugs to CFP because this site always runs links to important stories that citizens would probably not find otherwise ... and CFP keeps running many of my "contrarian" articles, which accounts for about 65 percent of the half-million readers this site has had in the last seven months!
The world is locked down, people's lives are bulldozed, and most people don't want to understand what happened and is happening. I agree with your assessment and it is worthwhile staying on the case of the biggest scam in history.
